Pippi, I think they're more forgiving at airports because it is out of your control. See what they say at the station first before buying anything!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction

Oh bless Pippi, how good that they still let you on the train (although quite right that they should!). Glad you made it to Englandshire safely, thinking of you, waving to you across Yorkshire xxxx0

And with all your help and comments and advice if excellence - I even said hi to the handy cheap spar shop at T3 when I ran past - wasn't too spooked about how long I had as I ws guided by all the lovely advice here

gotta love mse eh? Xx
finally Reading my borrowed much started but never had the peace to read properly 'animal vegetable miracle' - it's great - needed a really uplifting read for this trip and it hasn't disappointed.
Feeling very heathen, odd stripey socks out on the train - shoes off. It would seem people on this train normally keep their shoes on?! What can I say, I'm clearly a savage.

Hooray! :T :T Shoes off is always good
Are you actually going through my home town?! Goodness, if I'd have known I would have popped down to the station and waved through the window of the train at you
I *love* that book. I read it a while ago, then lent my copy to someone else, and read yours at Christmas
Very much enjoyed, and very uplifting indeed. Glad it was the right read for this trip xx 0 -
Sorry I missed all this, Pippi! I'm with makeup, yes, if you miss a connection because some previous transport was delayed, railway staff will always help you, neither me nor my family have *ever* had a problem with that, and we do pootle about all over the country constantly. They'll often write out a new ticket completely, that sort of thing.
Anyway, thats old news now - hope you're okay here in Englandshire ...2023: the year I get to buy a car0
