    Hi Fay,

It's a very very long time since I posted but I do lurk occasionally, to see what you're up to. Looks like you're doing OK.

A lot has happened to me in the last 12 months, which I won't bore you with, but suffice to say, belated mid-life crisis has been and gone, I left the Army in Apr 10 and now I'm working from home covering a region in the north of England for Tesco, doing the Environmental Health, heath and safety and trading standards bit for them. It's a job share so I only work 2.5 days per week and with my pension we are as well off as before. We bought, and then sold, a motorhome. We plan to buy another some time soon but no rush. Life is good; hope all is well with you too. Best wishes

    MM

Hey there I hope you're fine - chilli time very soon too! Glad you've a job - all good in this climate isn't it ?

I hope you're happy now after all your adventuring - we're all fine up here, nearly a year into the new house - I'm finishing off my non-phd studies and blogging away about nonsense to all and sundry (peedie has promised me he reads avidly):rotfl:

Nice to hear from you - often wonder how folk are when not seen them about for a while - good to know you're OK.

Growing anything interesting this year? xx

    EH enjoy - :)
LT - I think so..........and we let the weather deal with our car - utterly pointless here to try and keep it clean. I think the salt might not help much with my miles per litre though..........

We're renting at the moment and probably on the move into our own house in Lincolnshire later this year, so not too many horticultural pursuits this year. Had a good 2010 - tomatoes, 'tatoes, parsnips, chillies, peppers, courgettes: with varying degrees of success. We did have home grown parsnips on Christmas day.

I've heard you mention your blog but haven't managed to track it down. Could you post the link?

Fingers crossed for mr Stripes getting to you! :T :t And good luck with job chat :j :j
  • Thank you

Done 40 piggiback plant cuttings (Tolmeia - I love this plant) and about 100 spider plant cuttings (green and green stripey) for my indoor gardening :)

    All good :)

Off to attack the geranium next - chop chop chop.........................

Wow, I'm impressed at your industrious activity! All I've done is lie on the sofa with my feet up, a cuppa and a pile of library books :D Up in the attic now plotting and scheming (and a little bit of tidying up) :D
  • I'm avoiding housework hence the choppy choppy!

    Glad you've relaxed

    :D

Just hung some net curtains in the attic - not convinced Mr Daffs will be impressed when he spots them - he hates net curtains :rotfl: :rotfl: Also artistically draped some other fabric round the window - but sitting here it's not straight :rotfl: Pah!
  • good luck!

I've made such a mess of the kitchen - I'm going to have to tidy now - compost and plants everywhere - whoops!

But if I get home for all the cuttings then £100+ made over a couple of hours - I love propagating - was one of my favourite ever jobs when I worked south in a nursery its all we did all day every day - 100,000's of them :) (mostly different!)

If it's artistic it doesn't need to be straight ;)
