RE rhubarb - I might have pootle round the farm shops next week to find some lovely pink forced rhubarb from here the rhubarb triangle and then make some jam with ginger to have with scones and also yoghurt
Now this has reminded me about 2 other things to make - deffo a crumble for Sunday tea and also some more granola to make to use up 1 of the 3 bags of dried cranberries I have in the cupboard to have for breakfast.
Need to do this before the assignment deadlines looms up in 4 weeks time and I'll be flat out trying to get it in in time!
All this talk of food is making me hungry, off to walk the dog and then start tea while watching the rugby. How I love the 6 Nations, and its World Cup year too! Yipee!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I want to go on a train now.
Here you go then Pippi, just for you

Lots of train talk here. Don't want to dampen any spirits but Mr C always travels to Kitzbuhel on the overnight sleeper from Munich. He does North England to London, London St Pancras to Paris, Paris to Munich overnight to Kitzbuhel. Was just telling him about the train talk and stripey PJs. He says that you are told not to get undressed on the train but sleep in your clothes. I say that if you are a young woman from Liverpool, that wouldnt be a problem because lots of them wear their fleecy PJs to go shopping thereSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. :rotfl:I've just been chuckling about "train action" :rotfl:0

Hope you haven't blown away Pippi! :rotfl:
I went on the orient express from Paris to Vienna once :j :j :j (not the steam one sadly!) Just a seat on the way there (£25, very MSE! :rotfl:), and £125 on the way back for a bed in a compartment. It was all very exciting! Can't remember if I put my PJs - I was on my own with strangers though so I imagine I just sureptitiously took my bra off and left my t shirt on :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Just watched billy Elliot with dd
nice film

* also want to do jimjams on train adventures* My workplace near a station & we all get excited when the Orient Express choofs by - proper clouds of steam
Settling for jimjams around the home instead.
My DD is 11 & has made it very clear that after the last idiot ( took almost 2 years to get rid of him entirely) I should stay single for quite some time . . . .
Need to dig 2 large holes, seeking inspiration & motivation please.
I am slightly nervous that these two comments might be related......Pippilongstocking wrote: »<snip>
Big hole
A imagine its treasure under it
B imagine its for the ex twonk and or his stuff Yes, that was what I was worried about!

Hope it might work. Getting a bit freaked about money whilst we've 'enough' to cover the bills there isn't any extra at all.
No, we're in a similar boat here - *just* enough to cover bills, but nothing spare for the most part. Uncomfortable, isn't it!:j:j:j:j I may be having a choo choo stripey adventure - or should that be a tren tren stripey adventure :j:j:j:j
I have a....... em........ big birthday this year....... one that has a 5 in it...... at the start, not the end. I wanted to go to our place in Spain which one day will have a high speed train v close..... but just looked and we could get a Eurostar to Paris then el tren-cama to Barcelona or Madrid, then.... well, walk or something
. I suggested it to OH and....... HE DIDN'T SAY NO (which is v good progress for an initial convo :rotfl:). It's a hotel train with nice bar and everything
.
I will need posh stripey jimjams of course.
Oooohhhh, v excited
Not surprised you're excited - what a fab plan! I'm just itching to get back on the sleeper myself now!fedupandskint wrote: »

Me too! Have already watched Scotland getting beaten by the Frogs, and am now in the middle of Italy giving Ireland a serious run for their money!Cheery_Daff wrote: »Hope you haven't blown away Pippi! :rotfl:

I'd be delighted to hear a step-by-step description of how you reversed this procedure in the company of said strangers the following morning Daffs?!:rotfl: (Keep it clean though else we'll have Z back again!)

If that makes sense. I know there's a logical way to do it - as yet this eludes me
At mo I'm just watching bank like a crazy lady and hoping I don't fook up badly
Sorry for moaning

Does making sure that everything DD-wise comes out in the final two weeks of the month help at all Pip? Some things you can set your own date for the DD for - I know some of the utility companies are god for this, but council tax I think is usually set on a specific day which you can't change.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
