    :eek: is that on the NHS? Are you entitled to any help as you are not working? Can you ask to go to a training hospital? I know you are on an island but is there a training hospital on the mainland that you could go to. I needed 3 wisdom teeth out and that is what they did with me so it didnt cost anything.
    Is it a back one? If so will it be cheaper to take it out?

    Sorry so many questions its just that I am in shock. Only ever had my wisdom teeth out so didnt know how much dentists cost.

    the most it should cost on NHS is less than £200 as a far as i know.

    Poor Pippi, hope you get the tooth situation sorted quickly :( It's outrageous how much dentists charge :eek: I agree with the training hospital idea,if you can find one reasonably nearby, it sounds like a very sensible option.

    I'm still very smiley, was hoping to see A *swoon* last night but rain stopped play as he couldn't cycle over in a storm and he doesn't drive any more :( here's hoping lunch today will be better!! I'll just have to pick him up if needs be :D

    hope the face ache is subsiding. I did once try to pull a tooth out with the string and door method when I was about 8. Luckily my sister caught me and the ensuing fight and punch in the face solved the problem.

    Seriously though I do hope that it gets sorted soon.

    enjoy your sushi, sorry you're only having it because of the tooth as i know you love it.
    my sister once kicked one of my teeth out whilst i was pushing her on the swings (it was a baby tooth thankfully)

    Oh I love sushi, I hope that you can manage to enjoy it. I have never made it from scratch but my friends (he is japanese, she is chinese) always make sushi for our last night of the proms picnic. They make special sushi for me and Mr C as we are vegetarians.
