Lovely thanks! :j Got a hand made patchwork quilt for Christmas! :j :j

Goodness knows what we did to those hens?!

Progress indeed, well done you. I just wrote the introduction to my conclusions chapter :D:D Trying to see how much I can pilfer from the original while still addressing what they want me to address (lots, I think!). 'good enough' is good enough now - examiner apparently wants to get me through, so aim is on getting final version to him by this time next week   so he can read it and tell me if he wants anything else doing before I submit properly. Nearly there, wavering between 'hooray, nearly there, not much left!' and "aarrrrgggghhhh how am I ever going to get this done in a week?!?!' :D Hope you're more emotionally balanced! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Emotionally balanced moi?

I've had 3 deadlines changed - and gone over all three due to our servers being down - this thing is due in yesterday (and not finished), I said (prior to deadline changes) that I'd have the literature reveiw (finally) in by 15th but with all the revisions and changes to my time line haven't even 'thought' about that (well I've thought about it alot but not managed to do anything) and I'm waiting for the WHY isn't this done conflict that will ensue

I'm pretty sure that even I can't manage to move time to make more days in the month than there actually are

    But no one will listen

Very much souding like I'm not very balanced eh?

All the time I think 'why didn't I do more sooner'

lol and whatever I do it will be wrong. (in real life)

    Good about the quilt :)

Finally cleaned out the rancid medium new chicken house that the guy gave us - hadn't realised he hadn't cleaned it out before he gave us the hens (very clean now though) I';d been doing my normal tiny top of of straw and not realised it needed a full massive clean - whoops.

OH reckons we need a delux hen towers type thing for the summer and let the little monkeys live on the triangle of rough ground before you get to the house here - might be a plan...............
still light ish here :) can't wait until it gets lighter and lighter

poor you :(:( I'm pretty sure you can't stretch time either sadly (or else i would have already requested it for myself! :rotfl) bleurgh to deadlines. let's raise a glass of something nice to when all this is finally over for both of us hey? :o  :j

(best keep going, despite my best efforts conclusions don't write themselves!)

Yay to new hen towers :j :j
  • Oh now I think that would be a nice plan :)

I gave monseuir stripes the last of the sushi to go down the road - I'm now feeling this might have been a mistake!

You poor things! Especially you, Pippi, as you've been poorly just now (and you don't have a handmade quilt just been given to you :D) oh and its your diary :D

Seriously, you sound stretched *beyond* your limit. Sleeping like that, for instance - you must have *really* needed the sleep. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.

I was really missing the happy chat from here, and today I realised that you might still be writing on your blog, and I'm glad to say that you were - but I also realise about the strains of doing the thesis - just take care of yourself, come back when you're ready, to refine the cunning plan to bankrupt T atco :)
