  • Its just such a slog - this section is 8450 words needs to be 6000 - why DO I always over write????????????????

I'm going to stay jolly and vaguely edit it down a bit during Glee - not very scientific - but it will get the words down a bit.

    Hurray for you though :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

  • Money wise the car got through mot and a new exhaust for under £150
Insurance needs sorting - they've quoted 278 for the renewal - NO chance!!! I'll be shopping around
Food budget getting a bit tight - need to stop go bargain shopping
Petrol = tank cost £62 on saturday (£1.34 a litre) - I need a look at the petrol diet. Took OH car last week a couple days (which is sneaky but helped) I need to think about a couple days of home working
Billed for the invigilating work - 40 hours I think or there abouts :) get that at some point.
Very cold here but storage heaters down a bit.

I had to buy an ironing board today as my old one was officially dead :( but it cost me £5.31 as I used £10 worth of nectar points at Argos :D and it is stripy :D

Glad DD is getting on well, v. jealous of someone (anyone) going skiing.

Keep plodding on with the writing and you will get there. Keep the faith, and we're all keeping it for you if it gets tough....:A
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Goodness - your petrol is the same cost as our diesel! I hear that hopefully the fuel duty relief thing looks like going through? Will save you 5p a litre in duty if it does, starting from April. Isles of Scilly, Inner & Outer Hebs, and Northern Isles all included apparently. :j I'll believe it when I see it though! ;)

Don't turn those heaters down too far - or you'll be to cold to write.

What's DD doing in Italy? My DD and I may be having a holiday in Italy in the summer (keep fingers and toes crossed it all works out, I have to save lots of pennies!!) so in eager anticipation, I've been having fun doing some online Italian courses tonight, I've been to Spain more recently than Italy and have a French degree, so I can read the words but pronounce them a bit strangely :)

Another one keeping the faith for you here - I always overwrite too, so I feel your pain on the cutdown. Glad DD is having a good time too - take care of yourself.

hi Pippi, sounds like it's all go there, yay to getting through the MOT but boo on the insurance offer. Insurances seem to have gone mad in the last few years.
Glad DD is enjoying her time in Italy. I got home last night to a learn Italian pack from OH, i guess he's fed up of me saying i want him to teach me, means i need to sit down and make the effort now.

How spooky LT that you've got an Italian course from your OH, is he Italian? I've just realised that an old friend I've lost touch with is half-Italian so I may try and track her down on FB, and hope that she can teach me the kind of Italian I really want to know, lol - hush your minds, I'm thinking of buying wine and groceries, nothing naughty ;)

Cheery, thats not good! You'll need to get it fixed, yes?

Languages - I can still sort of speak French. My brother's kids have got it made when it comes to learning languages tho - their partners, respectively, are Welsh, Polish and French :)

    Happy European Day!
