Jamie Oliver has made home cooking far more do-able for a lot of people, so I respect him for that, but the day I noticed a couple of his recipes being pretty much MP's, well, he lost some of his appeal for me

    What are MPs:confused:

Thought I would add a poll to this, as the last day or so we have been discussing this a lot on MSE.

    Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall
I've voted for Hugh as he really got me interested in cooking again a few years ago. But I've a soft spot for The Two Fat Ladies too - they saved me when I first had rabbit to cook.

Could only do 10 (9 + other), so I left the hairy bokers & two fat ladies out, I tried to put the 9 most famous/popular up.

Rick Stein for me, Although he's predominately seafood etc.

Gordon Ramsay is my least favourite, why he thinks cursing and swearing at kitchen staff is 'trendy' and acceptable is beyond me. If anyone else treated their staff like that in any other job, they would be in court before their feet could touch the ground, and it's not simply a case of 'that's what to expect working in a kitchen' at all.

Well it used to be Gordon but i suppose you heard he cheated on me. Two Fat Ladies for fun and Hairy Bikers for fun and recipies.

I like good old fashioned Delia! I grew up being cooked her stuff so I must make loads of it without realising LOL!
I felt very cheated by Gordon's recent behaviour - I'd quite fancied him before that much to my friends disgust!!

I don't know, I've worked under a few chefs who make Gordon look like a kitten in comparison! :rotfl:
I would find it hard to choose between Gordon and the Hairy Bikers.
