Pipex are offering a (NOT SO GOOD, APPARANTLY) deal here.
http://www.pipex.co.uk/products/mini/
all local & national phone calls included.
Free connection and a brand new modem (You need to pay for postage tho - £7.50) and it's a 12 Month contract.
Pretty well rated ISP too. They have been managing Business connections for years.
Lo-Call rate (0845) helpline too.

Not bad, though the 2Gb monthly download limit won't be everyone's cup of tea.0

pipex 8mb max (no monthly limit) plus "anytime free calls" is £27.49
is that a grabbit? since the broadband part of package has been "reduced" to 15 from 25.0 -

I would seriously recommend people check out Pipex's recent reputation on adslguide before signing up for this.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I am only going to say this once:
AVOID PIPEX LIKE THE PLAGUE
I'm currently locked into a contract with Pipex and with no way out. The customer service is terrible - 'we are currently experiencing a lot of callers' *Hang Up* (they hang up - not you)
The service randomly disconnects all the time and it's pretty much unstable and unuseable for anything decent. They've overcharged me too and God only knows how long that will take to sort out. Plus they throttle your speeds for absoultely everything. Only another 11 months of this **** to go.0 -
Of course pipex now owns bulldog, which if anyone is a customer of will realise how bad bulldog is, especially billing0

But I am with Nildram ATM and they are owned by pipex too.
Only usual minor problems here."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
Bulldog used to receive such good reviews and connections prior to their take over.........shame.
As for Nildram, we use them at work, we get quite a few problems with emails through them, servers always down left right and centre although internet seems fairly stable most of the time, still, the sounds of things on this topic - steer clear of anything associated to pipex!!0 -
Maybe I have been lucky...
I know a lot of people avoid BT Broadband, but with all the email addresses in my address book ending in @btinternet.com, there are a lot who don't.
I have been with BT for over 18 months now, having previously had bad experiences with both Pipex and NTL, and have found it rock solid and reliable.
I realise they are not necessarily the cheapest or have the best reputation, but after the hassles people seem to experingcing with Pipex, Orange, free Car Phone Warehous (a friend of mine has had 3 non working modems) and free Sky, it is quite sad to say I am glad I am with BT!
And no, I dont work for them or anything like that!

ive been with pipex for 3 years now, 1 year at each of 3 propertys... always get straight on with good connection, they also upgraded all users for free a while back when the faster connections became more common... not had any trouble with them at all and i recommend them.0

I was with Pipex a few years ago and had lots of problems.
I moved to Freedom2surf and it was exellent.
Last year Pipex bought Freedom2Surf and things have gone down hill again!
I am looking to move away from these people very quickly!0
