    Any reason why it didn't go in? Or is it just something that happens every so often?

    apparently when my OH signed they didnt authorise it on the computer for him, they did it for me but not for him

    Oh I see. So they have to say you were there and did sign on before any payment is made?

    well according to the woman i phoned it has been authorised now but it looks like no payment has been made

    You'll probably get it tomorrow... do they still do giros?? Maybe your OH will get one of those?

    we wont get separate payments, will come as one

    yeah they still do giros for emergencies, going in the bank would be no good as we need it tomorrow and it will take 3 working days to clear in the bank

    well its bound to, usually the JSA payment you do get takes 3 days, its usually issued on the friday when you sign on and doesnt go into bank till wed

    It doesnt take three days - the DWP just like anyone else can send it as a faster payment and it will be there the same day if sent before 3pm.

    It is not issued on Friday, its authorised for payment with the next banking run on Friday, thats where the issue occured this week.

    well it wasnt issued today either so it looks like its going to be a giro payment
