I am in stunned awe of your list and everything you've achieved with two little ones! Sorry to hear about your walk to the surgery - did something similar myself this morning getting myself and DS soaked along the way!

Do you mind if I ask which pregnancy forum you find best for selling baby-related stuff?

usually use eb4y but get tired of listing so I'm trying netmums. Haven't sold anything there yet but it's made up of lots of local groups so people collect things they've bought saving the hassle of posting them.

My list will get longer. This debt will go as I am sick of it. Feel like I didn't get much done last year so I really need a kick up the back side to get it done this year. I want my kids not to be brought up in a house where money is tight like I was. Plus most of our debt was caused by not having savings when I went on mat leave with DD and then me getting PND. I'm trying to keep myself busy and give myself targets to achieve so I avoid PND this time.

Busy day today. DD and I made bread and cakes which were a success. DD is so independent now she wants to do it all herself. She just wanted me to read the recipe to her and let her do it herself. Took a lot longer as I had to teach her how to measure stuff etc but it all worked well. She loved offering my mum a cake when she popped round earlier.

I got an email from mu$icmagp1e too telling me my cheque is on its way. Can't wait to bank that. Straight off the c/c. Also listed some pregnancy related stuff. Am hoping to get my mat clothes on turbo lister over the weekend and also make a start on the stuff in boxes ready to go.

on the non mse front I walked nearly 11600 steps today. I know I won't walk as far tomorrow as today included 2 trips up to school whereas tomorrow I'll only make one. Never mind it's all helping to (hopefully) shift some baby weight......haha I say that but I'm only just heavier now than I was before I got pregnant so I can't really blame the baby I was a bit on the heavy side before. I am back in size 12 jeans but my 10's are still tight when I do them up...Now if I didn't *have* to do them up they'd be fine :rotfl:

pedometer on again today and walked 4305 steps already. wont make the recommended 10k though but 5k will be better than nothing.

i signed up to swagbucks this morning after hearing (seeing?) everyone on the make £10 a day thread talking about it. Seems easy enough if a bit labour intensive. I suppose I search for things enough on the internet to make it worthwhile. still free money sort of.....speaking of which must go and do my daily clicks

    see you later

    good morning diaryland

spent the weekend having a good sort out. my kitchen is (almost) immaculate! didn't manage to get any eb4y listing done though or much knitting. I want to get the mug cosy I'm knitting finished today so I can move onto the next project. As you can see I can only knit small things as I have a very small attention span :o

DH went to the bank on saturday and put in the coins from our piggy bank so £82 paid off the c/c. not bad ;)

pedometer on again this morning and I have already done nearly the same amount I did the whole of saturday  school run obviously helps. today I should exceed 10k steps as I have to walk back up to school to pick DD up at lunchtime then walk up to baby clinic to get DS weighed (hopefully) I've tried twice to get him weighed and things have happened meaning he wasn't weighed so fingers crossed for today

well looks like I'll have to review my goals :( I won't be debt free by my birthday now. We agreed on new windows for the house last night. They are needed as the house is so cold and the windows currently comprise of half the house very old PVC (with windows that won't shut properly) and the other half single glazed windows with the original wood frames

some of the wood frames are starting to rot too. We had a quote last night from a window company and using Martin's haggling skills we got him to drop the original price by over 65% and give us the better 100% energy efficient A rating window. Thank you Martin :money:

but obviously we don't have that kind of cash lying around so we've asked for the finance option. He did make me laugh by telling us that we could overpay the loan to reduce the term and spent about 5 mins explaining how overpaying works :rotfl: I felt like shouting "I KNOW HOW IT WORKS, I'M A FULLY SIGNED UP MEMBER OF MSE" :rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl: lol you should have shouted that at him! Well done on your haggling skills! I photographed and weighed loads of items for eBay but am going to wait until the end of the month when people have had another payday as people are always short of money suing jan!

Glad u managed to get bubs weighed. I loved going down the clinic to get the kids weighed. My mum had a baby (my sis :D) 5 days before I had my youngest daughter and I always enjoyed Monday's with my mum taking the two kids to the clinic :D

Shame about having to change your goals but at the same time it is an MSE thing to do to the house and you will really benefit from it!
