That tariff option isn't showing up for me at all when I login. I assume it's being updated as we speak as some people can see some bits and some can't see any.
I've found them using this link though: http://www.eonenergy.com/At-Home/Products/Products-Electricity-And-Gas/Prices+And+Discounts.htm?WT.mc_id=Prices_and_Discounts&WT.svl=8
To the E.on rep:
on the above page it shows i would recieve 2.8% online discount with a Manchester postcode. However on Energyhelpline.com it shows i would get 4.8%. Can you confirm which is correct? UPDATE: DISCOUNTS NOW MATCH BETWEEN ENERGYHELPLINE AND E.on website.
Hi echoecho
See you've already cleared this up but just to confirm, the online regional discount for Fixonline 9 for the Manchester area is 4.8 per cent.
Sorry for the late reply.

It's showing on the E.On website, but the Electricity box is EMPTY!? Despite this, More info says:
"Our E.ON FixOnline 9 plan is only available for dual fuel and electricity only customers without a gas supply and unrestricted and Economy 7 metered electricity customers."
"In addition you’ll receive an E.ON FixOnline 9 regional discount until 1 March 2012** "
but the Discount Box say "Online Discount @ 4.10%"
To the E.On rep:
It's happened again. Somebody can't seem to cut and paste properly in your IT department.
Hi Pincher
Many thanks for your comments.
Just to confirm, Fixonline 9 is available to both Dual Fuel and Electricity only customers who don't have a mains gas supply.
However, there is a problem with the website at the moment. Single electric customers are currently unable to switch to a different single electric product via our website. This problem is currently being fixed.
For Fixonline 9, the discount for online management varies depending on the area concerned. Therefore, the terms online and regional are both correct.
Thanks again for the heads up Pincher. I've passed all your comments on.

The tariff prices are the same, it is the discount which is reduced from 24.4% to 9.5%.
As for Age UK online it is even dearer than FixOnline9.
Another case where the poor pensioner is being charged more because it is targeted at older customers.
Not Correct - Fixed online 8 is 22.5% discount
Fixed online 9 is 11% Discount0 -

My posting is correct.
In case you don't realise there is more than one electricity region and they all have their own tariffs and discounts.

Good stuff, but 9 is only good because the horse has bolted.
If only people took notice when they said this:

Oops, sorry to upset the little boy..... go back and play with your toys !0 -
Looks like this is the deal I've been waiting for to switch to when my fixonline v3 expires next week.
Quick question .... if I switch now (i.e. just before FO3 ends) do I get the £30 penalty - seem to recall reading somewhere that it is waived if you switch to another Eon tariff with the same cancellation penalty.0 -
Hi deshepherd
It's a possibility as you will not have completed the full term of the contract. However, given the imminent end of Fixonline 3, I doubt it.
Drop an email to the address in my Profile if you would like me to take a look. Will be happy to do this.
