the tariff is 1000 x-net minutes offpeaK.

i also have a phone direct from o2 250mins anytime and they are included in that but wasnt sure about the tariff from carphonewarehouse mentioned above.

Ive been to one of te O2 shops this week, and asked them whether these calls are still INCLUSIVE from 1st Nov 06.
They say that they WONT be included for new customers - but couldnt comment for existing users as she said no info had been released to them.
But she was adament that they were NO LONGER included for new user.0 -

Is this for sure and confirmed?
If it is, then I can take out another contract as i need these minutes.0 -
I can only pass on what the rep from the O2 shop was saying. She seemed to think that new contracts wouldnt be eligible for the inclusive numbers - my only conclusion is that NO ONE seems to know whats going on, esp. O2!dagger_meerkat wrote:Is this for sure and confirmed?

Has this been confirmed anywhere officially? I was about to port two numbers to new O2 contracts specifically because they allow 0845/0870 numbers. Does this mean that if I sign up for the new contracts before 31/10/06, I'd still have entitlement to the existing terms.0

I would pop into an O2 shop to get confirmation - from what they've told me - you WONT be entitled to those numberas inclusive minutes from your package.Jaxer wrote:Has this been confirmed anywhere officially? According to the T&C on O2's website, 0844/0845/0870 calls are still included in the free minutes for contracts. No mention has been made about these numbers being excluded in the near future. I am not sure about CPW as their billing system is independent from Carphone's, but they usually follow O2 as far as included numbers are concerned.0

O2 have been sending a copy of their new T&C's booklet with our monthly bills.
Also on the bills it says 'Have you read the smallprint?'.
I cant really make hear nor tail of the new T&Cs.0 -
What is being suggested here is that from the 1/11/2006 NEW customers will not be able to use their inclusive minutes to call 0844/0845/0870. Their is no suggestion that existing customers are going to be excluded as well. If they were going to do this they would have had to give 30 days notice and they havent done so.Plus that would have given customers grounds to cancel existing contracts.
Existing Customers with the appropriate contracts can still continue to use service to call these numbers whether they bought it from O2 direct or the CPW.
I dont expect they will alter T&C to nearer date if new customers are about to be excluded.0 -
THis does fit in with the previous thread on this topic where someone said they had heard these calls would no longer be included after 1st November but no one has had updated T&C. Am tempted to sign up for a new contract to either lock in the benefit or get a free cancellation if they do change the T&C...I think....0
