Evening everyone

It seems really late now the nights are drawing in.

I was hoping to hear from the panel meeting re possible place in dyslexia unit, not heard anything so will give the lea a call tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crossed as this would make such a difference with the specialised teaching. Ended up taking him to drs as he was complaining of earache, thankfully it is not an infection and dr has given him some drops to soften the wax.

Os today 2 lots of washing done. Hoovered stairs @ bedrooms. Kitchen cleaned. Dog walked for nearly 2 hours(does this count).

Bramble - hope the job goes well
bitsy- I avoid taking ds2 at all costs to the shops, he is 10 and still whinges all the way round.
Jackieg - sounded like you had a good time yesterday evening.

Evening all

I've had one of those days....I had a meeting in sister office 40min drive away, but my colleague had taken my minibus home for weekend so needed to go to my normal office (round the corner from my flat) to pick up bus to drive there, thought I'd be clever and park my car in work car park, had a cuppa there before setting off.....get to sister office 10mins early, I wanted to pop to shops but as I was only one with keys for office decided to stay and wait for colleagues, colleagues arrive 40mins late! :mad: They apologised but if they had rung I could have gone to shops whilst waiting.....thought I'd go after meeting finished at 3, but we overran til 4 so had to head home cos had man coming to look at my leaky window at 5.....get back to where minibus lives, paralled parked in miniscule space, lock bus and realise I can't find house/car keys :eek: ring normal office and luckily they were on my desk next to coffee cup.....took minibus to office to get keys, boss then talks to me for 10mins, window man ringing me, had to take bus home or would have missed window man....window man stays for all of 3minutes but says he will come back Weds to fix it......so now I have to take minibus back, walk 10mins to get car as I stupidly left it in work car park, without my coat which I've left in the sodding office, and then finally get home, via Aldi for the food I didn't get earlier! :rotfl:

Oh dear - flutterbyuk - poor old you - what a dreadful day!
Juliapenguin - great to see a voice from the past posting again!
Have had a long day today - last night had to call police to get into DS' flat as he said he'd overdosed... not true but a horrid experience all the same.
HM soup for lunch and leftover pork, minced and with peppers and mushrooms and spaghetti this evening.
Need to get house ready for sister's visit on wednesday... but actually, does it matter? we're clean, if not tidy, so that will ahve to do!
Hope you've all had not too bad a day. I'm off for another glass of wine - I need it!

Came out of work at 4:30pm and it was dark:eek: i hate it when i finnish in the dark:eek: as i go to work in the dark too. so very little sunlight for me:mad:

Anyway a long morning at work but the afternoon fed by:T
i shall be doing chicken stir fry for dinner tonight with the left over chicken from the sunday roast. I will allso start off a stew tonight with the reast of the chicken. So stew tomorrow for dinner.

The twins have been at my moms house today as my wife works mondays. They will be back at about 7:30 and should be in bed by 8:00pm to have there bed time story. I hope that they have a better sleep than last night. Not sure what was a matter with twin 1 but she just kept waking up and saking for mommy.

We i hope that you all enjoy your eveing. Im pff to have a read of the daily thred now.

I was so shattered I went to bed this afternoon and slept for over an hour. I did not do my Monday clean, just could not be bothered........

Beef stew and dumplings, cabbage and carrots for supper, OH wanted banana and ice cream for dessert so thats what he got!!

I will be going to bed eraly tonight, I have to get some sleep.................

been a busy day here!

was at work at 7am then went horse racing this afternoon - only had 1 winner but enjoyed it a lot!:T was frozen though so had a hot bath on my return home.

WMF - I enjoyed reading about your older doggy!:) my 2 love cheese as well but their all time favourite is toast! I daren't do any without a bit for the 2 dogs!

just had tea - sausage, mash and onion gravy for the males and fish pie from the freezer for me.

Evening All,

I have read but not really retained sorry! Had a long day, just waiting for DH to come home and then I'll make dinner, he and I are now having stir fry as I have tofu which needs eating. Boys are back at school tomorrow.

My Dog is nuts about eggs...I keep the eggs in a wire chicken thingy in the kitchen and i only have to take one out, without even cracking it or cooking with it and she is like a shot in the kitchen...she can;t even see me from where she is in the living room, she just knows!

I have swapped one clingy child for one with 4 legs and fur. OMG every time go to sit and perch (and this is at the dining room table to do some Xmas crafts) Mia is there, getting on to my lap. I might have to put her in DD's old sling at this rate :eek: She's crawled onto my lap just and has now gone to sleep :cool:

H got sent home early from work as he was sick. I am trying to persuade him to stay off tomorrow.
