It's probably not a kid's camera no, but if you're more concerned about picture quality than looks then it seems quite a good one for the price (normal price that is, don't know the discount as it's not on the list.) There aren't many cameras that offer 10x optical zoom at that price. (I know cos I was looking for something similar a few months ago and couldn't find anything in that price range.)0
