i am undecided on whether to go for the tv or not, but if i did and got one i would drop my sky subscription as we dont really use it enough to justify the cost and save myself £724 a year, which could buy 2 of these tv`s:eek:

Yeah I cancelled my Sky subscription a few months back (was just the standard one; not movies / sports.) I had no complaints about the number of extra channels it gave me, but for whatever reason I always seemed to end up watching the ones you can get on Freeview anyway. So it was a waste of £30 a month.

jetty my day has been full of glamour....and randomness! I will be continuing the glamour later when I head off to Morrisons before picking OH up from work! Hope the amazon bargains have ended by then!

It's probably not a kid's camera no, but if you're more concerned about picture quality than looks then it seems quite a good one for the price (normal price that is, don't know the discount as it's not on the list.) There aren't many cameras that offer 10x optical zoom at that price. (I know cos I was looking for something similar a few months ago and couldn't find anything in that price range.)

Personally I'd go for the Canon every time. Have had Sony and Canon before
