I won't be using my Asda credit card or shopping in Asda again.

You may have incurred a late payment fee in error. I paid £160 off my card - £150 plus my direct debit on time but got charged a late payment fee on the 15th November. Apparently Asda have moved systems and have made a major !!!!-up. Apparently it will be corrected and will not leave a mark on credit files as it's their fault(or so the indian call centre tell me). The card will be going asap for me as I wasted 20 mins calling them .....0

Santander have finally admitted that it was their fault. They returned a cheque for £7 to refund me paying my credit card bill twice. They also issued £25 compensation, but once the £12 overpayment fee had been taken out, and the fees for getting a credit report from all the credit reference agencies costed, I have still lost out.
Well up yours Asda and Santander. I've not visited you since this started and won't ever visit you again. My home insurance is now due for renewal and Santander's name keeps appearing in the comparison websites. !!!!!!!! to that - I'm not risking being uninsured with them as they don't know what they're doing.0 -
Maybe I'm just thick, but 3 credit reports at 2 pounds each added to 12 pounds fee for late payment add up to 18 pounds in my little world.
Not ASDA's or Santander's business if you went and paid a month's worth of fees to each of the CRA's.
Mountain out of a molehill does sounds about right. All banks and cards make mistakes, Santander just seems to be a little better at it than the rest right now.0 -
This is really Santanders issue and not Asdas as its a Santander card?!0
