My entire weekend has been a total wash out. I have done absouletly nothing that I'd planned, nothing around the house and made no plans either. Think the Universe was telling me just to let it happen and to trust a bit more.

Have loaded everything into dishwasher, given kitchen surfaces a cusory wipe and put washing in machine to do overnight. When I'm home from work tommorow I shall start this week as a fresh chapter.
Going to play some games for a bit now, visit sick BIL and then Gallows Law and bed.:j

Odd Socks

Nearly all our socks are black - there are three of us.

At one point, because of the various styles and degree of fading I counted 37 odd black socks.:mad:

My son takes them off and leaves them where they fall, he likes to walk around bear footed, and we have a retriever dog.

Fatal combination when trying to keep socks in pairs:rotfl:

Hi ladies, just posting to say that for the first time this weekend I have 'lived my dream' and I could never have done it without the positivity on here. Had an amazing time with DT, who is lovely and got everything she wanted and looks fab!

remember I was saying that I will be going across the US on a motobike? Well, it looks like it has moved beyond the stage of dreaming and will be happening. My friend has been sneding me links to motobikes and to motobike learning school.

I know what you mean, but life's too short so if they aren't on display, make new sock couples.

Morning All

Well the duck was delicious, but there is rather a lot left as neither of us are big eaters, so what to do with the remainder?
I might see if there is a gluten free recipe somewhere for pancakes..:o

Its not so much socks that disappear in our house, but every time our daughters visit I manage to "misplace" items of clothing :eek:

Busy week ahead for me, as we are off on a jaunt!!
Saturday we will be in Shrewsbury with a friend who is playing christmas songs in Tesco's to raise money for Clic Sargent charity, we are on tin shaking duty (without actually shaking the tins )
then off to Plymouth to visit DD2 for a week, so I have to make sure all christmas prep is done before we go, or there will be no christmas when we get back :eek:
Oh, and does anyone know a quick way to learn french?
My cousin is coming to visit from 21-23rd december, and is bringing her new partner with her, who speaks absolutely no english whatsoever :eek: Could be interesting :rotfl:
