Does anyone else live in a house where socks mysteriously disappear................?
You put 'pairs' in the washing machine and you get odd ones, even though you know you double checked etc.,
So its either Gremlins, the Christmas Elf or the Sock Fairy.:eek::eek::eek::p.
DSS1 home for the weekend on leave from Harrogate and suddenly after washing and drying every pair of socks he posesses (including Army regulation issue, ones).
OH put him on the train back at 2.30 this afternoon and came home, went to the wardrobe. to change socks cos his feet were wet, and lo and behold, zilch, nothing, de nada.
Quick phone call to dss1 and he'd cleaned out all his dad's socks because he'd forgotten to take his own out the tumble dryer and pack them:eek::eek:.
OH was:mad::mad::mad:.
So we have a resident sock monster. Typical 17 year old I guess.
Oh is seening the funny side now but a quick trip to Asda to replace the 30 odd pair the dss1 had slyly shifted lol
