Aaarghhhh!!!!
No news on Winky???? I hope to hope the baby is here and they have been so busy resting that they haven't bothered to pop on. I'd hate to think she was still in labour.

Morning all!
Hope all is well with everyone, especially mammy to be and new little baby (if she's arrived yet!)
I haven't been able to keep up with the matrix as well as in the past but just caught up and felt compelled to just drop a little line!
The inside of my head is all fluffy at the moment and there's a lot of work to be done with almost every aspect of my life - still but I am sure I am getting there. (Far too boring to write down at the moment and if I do think about it all again it will knock my little bit of Monday morning positivity to the floor and I am grasping onto that for now!!)
One good thing - my kits for kits total is absolutely amazing! Thanks to so many generous donations from friends, facebook friends, work colleagues, freecycle donations, local community teams and local businesses.
I am heading down to Hertfordshire on either Thursday or Friday this week (if I can change my hair dressing appointment from Thursday to Friday I will do it all on Thursday) but not really looking forward to the mammoth drive because my sister doesn't think she can accompany me and the return journey from South Tyneside to Hertfordshire may turn out to be a long long day!!
Anyway, the generous donations I have received so far are:
football shirts - 356
shorts - 136
pr socks - 50
pr boots - 12
other items (inc shin pads, training tops, bottoms, jackets) - 51
Amazing!!
I think it is because a colleague of my husband commented that he didn't think I would be able to collect 100 shirts (which was everyone's original goal) and I set out to prove him wrong!
A little while ago I remember reading on one of our threads about getting results by a lot of people doing little things and how successful this could be. Well here you go, more proof.
I haven't done any charity work since leaving school and honestly didn't think about where I would be able to get 100 shirts and now look at this.
It didn't cost anyone any money at all (apart from the people who sent items through the post), just a little effort of looking, digging out and getting stuff ready for me.
Success!!! My first feeling of achievement for such a long long time and this is one of my first little baby steps to return to the person I used to be. It's gonna be a long hard slog (just like the debt busting) but I am positive I will reach my goals.
Right I am off now to get some stuff on ebay (debt busting from the minute I get up till I drop off to sleep!)
Have a great day everyone.

Dirtyepic what a fantastic achievement! :j:jI hope the success you have had with this will now rub off on other aspects of life. Sorry you have such a long drive ahead though, if I was anywhere on the way I would help. Get some good music or audio books (I borrow these from my local library) for the journey and it will pass quicker.
Winky where are you? Please tell us she's here!0 -

Have just dropped kits off at the collection point this afternoon. I went to the desk and told the man I had been told I could drop some stuff off there - he said 'Oh is it 'kits for kids? You're the third person today! The first time I was a bit surprised but I'm getting used to it now!'
/QUOTE]
I was the first person yesterday, and the guy behind the desk was very confused, apparently it was his first day in Borehamwood and he had no idea what I was talking about! :rotfl:Luckily someone else came in, who did know so all was well in the end :T
Sorry I have been missing for a while ladies & Gents, but have had some issues here that I have had to get my head around before coming on here and ranting
My DGD2 has recently been for an first assessment for Autism, (she is 21 months and cannot talk/interact) and whilst talking to the Dr, it emerged that her problems may be down to the environment she has lived in, due to her fathers abusive nature  Luckily he no longer lives with my daughter, but the damage is done, and it made me so furious to think that he may have caused her problems that I could not think straight  Anyway, enough before I go off on a rant again
MG - what an amazing time you are having, (apart from the illnesses) and your boys are truly wonderful :T
Claire - you have been moving mountains just lately - you go girl :A
Winky - I hope the labour is now over and you have a lovely little lady to love
Susan - I am pleased your operation was a success - onwards and upwards for you now
FW - Yay to being an IT goddess :T
Boddy - positive thoughts to you for today - I hope it goes as well as it can
To everyone else - hugs and positive thoughts as necessary :A

Morning MG
Have you decided what to do about the London session? I saw your post saying you had a number of cancellations for December 4 but weren't you going to offer places on that day to people who had booked on last Saturday's session which you couldn't do? Would that make up the missing numbers? Hope you don't have to cancel but will understand if you do. Anything I can do to help give me a shout (did you see my PM?)It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0
