  • Just had lightning and a massive clap of thunder:eek:

Same here - that was a wee bit scary (especially in an office with metal windows) am glad its stopped snowing for a bit - it seems rain has settled in at home so hopefully the snow is moving south.

Need to catch up again. Will do that later. I had a slight mishap at the weekend (details on my diary) and I think that I may well be on here later for some moral support. Right now I have to head off somewhere but will be catching up later. Glad MGs course went well. I will have to save up to go on one soon.

Just read your post - the main thing is your both safe - sorry to hear about your car though :(...having help rescue someone Thursday morning after they 'parked' their car in our garden I can understand (a bit) the scare you had. ((((((hugs)))))))))

I am in the middle of battle with ex about his visiting rights to see DD. It seems that there is no way I can enforce supervised visits on him so I would need to hire someone who could take DD to the meeting points and then pick her up and bring back. Or to provide a pick up point. Ideally someone with child care experience. Somewhere South-East of Birmingham or on a way from Birmingham to London. This is so that I don't need to see ex when dropping DD off and pick up and also to have objective person to see how the visits affect DD.

Any ideas from where I could start looking mostly appreciated.

    Afternoon

The rest of the ironing never got done this morning, as the boys were off school, dh managed to get a cancellation in the dentist for ds2 who has lost his brace :(

I cannot walk in the snow so it cost £12.60 taxi fare down £11.80 taxi fare back and £53.10 for his brace :(

What about a nursery nurse or nanny that would be available weekends?? or a retired careworker?

    Emailed you back too :)

Marru, is there a reason other than you not wanting to see him, for you requiring supervised visits. There is an organisation called (?) Cafcass I think. They are usually a mediation service set up via the courts that act as mediators. I know somebody who used to go to an office to meet his daughter there for supervised visits. I have no idea why he was forced to have supervised visits as he is the kindest, gentlest person ever. I do think it was part of an agreement via social services though. It only lasted a couple of weeks until social services were happy that there was no reason for the supervision.
Is there some kind of nursery etc where you could drop your child and leave then OH picks them up if the idea of supervised is simply to stop you both seeing each other?
