Thank goodness she's okay. Everyone keep warm and safe today. I managed to get to work (not sure if this is a good thing, or not!) and am sitting at my desk in my long skirt and walking boots feeling a little like I did when I was at uni... when it was the trend to wear DMs with everything!! We are due more snow tonight and tomorrow, so if I feel it is not safe enough, i will not be attempting the journey. But so far, so good. It hasn't really disrupted me at all. Long may that continue!!

Morning all - I'm similar - dress and walking boots today (although I have got spare shoes at work which I've swapped into). Stopped snowing now that we've all trudged to work in it of course!

That's great news about MG, the silence was a bit un-nerving, good to know she's tucked up safe and warm with the boys. Thank you Fantasia for putting our minds at rest :A.

I asked work HQ to email me over a couple of files, so I have something to do to justify my wages! Better get on with it...

Well I've contacted the people I'm housekeeper for and they snowed in too, but cant raise an answer at the company head office in Falkirk to let them know, maybe they didnt make it in to work either. not even getting an answering machine:eek:.
Don't want to be in bother for not n:eek:otifying anyone.

Will just have to keep trying.

Glad MG is safe albeit it snowed in - I made it to work - not a bad journey either (1hr 30) but I think that may have something to do with it being an inservice day in the city and the shire only having 4 schools open.

I'm going for the dress and wellies look today...but this time I remebered to bring some shoes to change into - although I might swap back as my feet are cold with out my wellies on.

Glad MG made it back alright - I assume everyone else did as they were all closer?!

I made it to work - only to be rung 5 mins before I got here telling me they'd cancelled our big meeting this afternoon and I needn't bother coming in if that's all I was coming for :rotfl: Thanks - but I'd set off at 6.15 so it was about 3 hours late! :rotfl: Ah well, chance to catch up on all those things there's no time to do instead...

No snow, and I'm procrastinating about going to stand in a COLD warehouse to sort shirts. But I've left the chocolate digestives there to tempt me back.......

It is only beautiful until the slushy splash from the roads starts to get on it and then everything just looks mucky! Oh, and it is beautiful when it is falling outside and I am inside and snug as a bug in a rug!
