Right got 5 mins before I have to put the vac round.

My ramblings will have an element of money saving and made do and mend.......not just because I like that tightwad way of living ;) but because I told H last night that in 5 years time I want to take DS to Kennedy Space Centre :o He loves The National Space Centre in Leicester and we've been several times but at Kennedy they have the Saturn 5 rocket, a mock up of the space shuttle etc and given his special interest is in space and rockets what better place to take him via Disneyworld of course ;)
So I want to start stashing away as much money as possible to build up some savings in order that we might go. I just need to get H on board with this a bit more......he thinks nothing of a £3 DVD once a week for the kids.......well I'd rather that went into a fund for the holiday of a lifetime. H then announced to me that he still wants to get a consevatory as we need the extra downstairs space. Sooooooo more penny pinching I think!

Inapickle -Like your list of things to do. Here's a kick up the 'arris with my size 8's (yes big foot woman here LOL)

Crickett - awww bless you, thanks for the birthday wishes. My darling son said to a friend at school in front of his mum......"do you know my mum is 36"......so clearly one and all are going to know my age LOL

robsmum - Hope it's nothing serious and that you're feeling better soon xx

EH - with regards to the thread I am happy to wait and see what develops. OK MG and her homeschooling might mean her time is limited (like us all) but she may well be back posting my then. If she's not or it's only sporadic I am sure amongst us we can decide on a new thread title etc.

right I am off to put the vac round and then for a walk in the sun with my mum. But I will leave you with one thing for now. I love music. It lifts my mood like being in the countryside or at the seaside on a sunny day. This is a song from an CD I received for my birthday. OK it's probably a bit cheesy and cliche but hey I like those. I like the idea of letting off my fireworks and showing people who I really am :D

    Have a great day everyone.

Hello Peeps - keep your distance as we have all go snotty colds courtesy of DS2 and his new playgroup germies.:rotfl:

Finaly beginning to feel humanish again - hospital was a wee bit scary, filthy, too hot and boring. I remember why I was so happy to have DS2 at home - tummy is miles better and I am now clear of the hospital acquired infection!!!!!!

..................... Feel completely wiped out and have been literally unable to even read a book for the last month or so, all I want to do is sleep:( Concentration has really gone to pot.

Finally got school work for DS1 organised - taking him till the end of term so that is one huge block off my shoulders, DS2 is in theory off to playgroup three mornings a week (when he is not off sharing the latest bug with us all) ........................... so now its time to start pulling my own life together again.

................... nothing too serious, more along the lines of "shining my sink" and sitting down with a cup of tea without having to crawl back under the duvet:p

Can someone please let me know when spring is expected??? After the snow again this weekend I take it that it has been scheduled later in the year for 2011??

Sooo broke and sooo shattered - so time to get my va-v-voom back and back pushing forward again.
