I LOATHE painting. A few years ago, I had a nervous breakdown and while I was recovering at home, I gently went through all of the jobs and chores I had at home. Once the only thing that was left on the list was painting the walls, I went and found myself a job! I loathe it that much!! :)

Work is... "interesting" at the moment. Everyone I work with is in the dumps after reading a speech by David Willetts who is in charge of the Higher Education changes within the government. I keep reading the document and I can see the potential positives in it, where everyone else is seeing the potential negatives with it and nothing else. I can't express to you how different this mind set it for me! All due to the power of the matrix.

Can I please ask for some positive vibes for my Aunt please? She has benign tumours on her thyroid and she is going to have to have radical surgery to take it out. It is at the end of this month, but she is getting really stressed, which is not going to help matters much! :( Any positivity you can spare would be gratefully received. :D

Right, time for lunch and then back to the grindstone! Hope everyone is having a good day.

Благодаря ви много Firewalker for the good wishes for March,
I sincerely apologise if I got the words in red wrong. Its meant to be thank you so much. What a beautiful day it is today. How amazing it is to be alive and thriving and the world is waking up again, spring is surely the most wondrous season.
It's cold in Scotland but sooooooooooo bright and fresh and the light is so lucid today, its like there is an incandescence over my world.
Even though I am not financially wealthy atm, because of a certain new addition and her needs, I have health, love and abundance of joy, a lovely OH, 7 fabulous kids (all adult bar 1 lol). I have the right to make choices, freedom to do what I wish ( a lot of the world at the moment is in political turmoil). I think what I have, I take for granted a lot of the time, and don't take the time to be thankful (which I should).
Think I need to celebrate me, who I am, what I have, and concentrate less on what I want. Some of which, is so mundane that it is totally irrelevant.
I love life right now. Hell yeah.
I wish you all joy. The Matrix rocks and is my rock because I know I can come in here or go to the other place and there are people who will tell me straight, encourage me, be honest and don't patronise.
Hugs and positive vibes to everybody, because you are all AMAZING and deserve to be celebrated.
And MG, come back whenever you feel upto it, we are all continuing, and kicking butt and just waiting for whatever the Universe has in store.

Not down my way  It's cold, grey and very much as far removed from incandescence as you can get. Doesn't seem like spring is any closer today :o
Still had both the kids at home, DS had allergic reaction to something so had to get a horrible burning itchy rash checked out. He's bouncing off the walls at the mo so back to school tomorrow ;)

Really not much going on here. H's interview is for Friday at 2pm so any spare vibes would be most welcome :) He's really nervous and a wee bit stressed as he's got a huge move around at work coming up. His scooter is also playing up despite having forked out £119 to get it serviced and fixed :(

BUT like Fantasia says I need to be thankful. We're not struggling financially ATM <touches wood/crosses fingers> so we're not in the unfortunately position others are in. Indeed if H gets this job we'd be better off financially as it would be more money. However I think it's easy to get complacent so I am trying to get back into more thrifty ways :)
I've cobbed together a meal from pasta, some sad looking courgettes an onion and some left over peas (shhhhhh don't tell anyone about that ;)). All blended together with a tin of toms to make pasta sauce to which I will add cheese (for me) and tuna and bake in the oven. Not bad really and fed the 4 of us for a few pennies.

Robsmum - hope the plumbing doesn't cause too much chaos!

Crickett - Vibes for you Aunt. Hope everything goes well for her xx

Firewalker - Chestita Baba Marta to you too x

Evening all, what lovely positive posts today. Great to see the spring bringing us all renewed hope. Fantasia, I love your post it reads like a really passionate poem or diary entry. When are you going to start blogging?

In the same vein as Bitsy I have made a very frugal tea tonight. I have made a veggie curry, half butternut squash, sweet potatoe, frozen spinach, red lentils, ginger, onion, garlic, garamasala, turmeric, coriander, cumin. Added boiled rice and half a naan bread each. Enough left over to freeze for another night. Total cost £1.09 (divide by 2 = 55p for 2 people :j:j:j) I had forgotten how much fun being frugal can be. Mr C is grinning like a cheshire cat because I have suggested that we invest in a wine making kit. I used to make my own wine and beer many years ago when I also managed pubs. My brother was telling him about my legendary wine and it reminded me how much I enjoyed it. So I am going to empty my piggy bank (the one for treats) and see if I can afford to buy some equipment. I may try freecycle first though.

What kind of veggie meals can anybody else suggest that I could make for around 50p I will have to set myself some challenges.

It does exactly what it should, Fantasia. Well done - MG would have said there are only 97 more words to go before you can aim for and claim fluency.

    And this one too :)

yes it is silly oclock and I find myself up with Moo again. It is starting to wear thin on me now. I have no clue why he has suddenly taken to waking and barking every night! The nightlight worked for all of 4 hours. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him other than wanting me to sit with him. I need to work out how to break the habit so if anybody has any ideas. Mind you he is 7 in August so maybe he is going a little senile!
