Why not aim to make all your own cards (ie, the ones that you yourself will send) for this year Bitsy? A nice manageable goal, and if you go over it, then well done, but if not, at least you're getting some practice in, and if you stick your name/website on the back of them, they'll still get getting out there and doing a bit of marketing for you! :T

Morning all, hope today is a good one for you

Last push for me today! :T I stayed up til 2.30 this morning, most unlike me, but I'm actually glad I did because I got lots out of the way :T :T Plenty to do today though, but I'm reasonably well rested, and very positive, and have a nice cup of tea, so I'm all set :j :j

    xx
  • Yes Cheery, let's sink this ship today :)

When I lived at mum and dad's we passed a home check for a labrador from a local resuce, despite not having tall fences, a gate and despite working full time and having laminate upstairs. They were much more interested in what we could do rather than the things we couldn't. Doggy's dead now, but he was 15! I had acquired a little cat about 3 years earlier (much to mum's disdust mind), and home checkers thought that would be fine as well... they ended up sharing the dog basket :)

    I can't find my Matrix log-in :(
  • Morning all,

Yay well done Cheery, you are so close now!! :j

Fantasia I'm sure you will be fine, you sound like the ideal owner!

Bitsy try not to give yourself too much to do, being overstressed doesn't help with anything and it also makes you reach for the biscuit tin and stops you being happy in the moment - so several of your goals are linked.

Lucielle I do hope you can get your home situation sorted - is there no possibility of finding a nice non-damp house to rent in the area?

Lots of positive vibes to all today.

    Good morning

I'm loving the positivity here again today, although I'm not feeling so much today, I woke up with a migraine, so won't be on here much today, cause the glare of the screen is nasty :(.

Cheery well done on what you have achieved.

Bitsy, be kind to yourself, just craft when you want to like i do, I will sit there and think oooh I think I will make a few bits today .

Well I woke up and came down Dh had cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, he was sweeping the kitchen floor when I came down, he had cleaned the larder unit out the fridges and the freezers. Now he is pairing socks.

I'm yet to still get to the bottom of the crate box, but have bagged quite a bit more beads.

We have a beautiful day here today too blue skies and sun ;)

  • Just popping in to wish Cheery Daff all the best for today. You can do it. Don't know quite the right words to say, so will just send some positivity your way.
    Best wishes,

Aw, thanks you lovely lot :T :T It really does make a difference having some cheerleaders! :j :j :j

Do you know, I had an absolutely rotten time the last few days before I handed it in the first time round. Completely tearing my hair out, crying and stomping and all kinds :o This time, although the last few weeks and months have been difficult, and I haven't been altogether cheery, these last few days, when I normally would have had a rotten time, have been really positive and empowering :T :T

I've learned just how much I CAN do when I need to, an how much I CAN focus when I push myself. I've stayed cheerful throughout, stopped regularly for cups of tea, and I think I've done a much better job too :j :j :j

This morning has gone well too! I'm nearly at the end of the conclusions now :T :T So thank you all, and I hope a bit of my positivity spreads back to you all too :j :j

Thank you everyone for the positivity. I am going to stop being so lame. And am keeping this quiet now until I have something positive to say on the subject. There isnt anything I can do about it bar play the waiting game. SO lip zipped ;)

Go Cheery, you can and will clear it.
Go Bitsy, in your OWN time-frame.

Hugs to all who need them :)
