    Nice turn of phrase :rotfl:

I want snow! Just a bit icy here this morning.

Congrats to Bitsy on the debt-freeness - I love hearing about other people reaching that stage, spurs me on to get there myself :)

Had a funny couple of days, some good stuff - amazing 'stress busting' course yesterday, and some lovely feedback from people I'm mentoring. Work has been immensely hassley though - getting a lot of cr*p from people who are just rude when you don't know things that they expect you to know, even though you have no way of knowing them because they haven't told you! Grr!

Have joined the 'Green' committee at work which looks after making sure our building is as energy efficient etc as possible - first meeting today which I'm rather excited about!

  • I would quite happily send you all some snow down if you would like it - another 2 hour and a bit commute but that was after some one decided to park their car in my garden :(
You can have mine as well.
  • You can have mine as well.

I'm guessing we are probably in the same area...and theres more forecast for this afternoon :(

No snow here either :) and It can stay that way :) Me and snow don't get on I always land flat on my back when I'm out in it :(.

Well hoover changed :) rug hoovered, (next door gave me bicarbe to sprinkle on it and leave while I was out.) I think the smell must have been on the rug, cause when she came in this morning she could still smell cat wee after I had washed all the floors with vinegar solution, but when I came in I couldn't smell anything, bought neutrodol while I was out and have sprayed that too, so hopefully thats the end of nasty niffs in here :)

Need to crack on with more orders this afternoon.

Very Mse I went to Morrison's for baking potato's and had a look in the reduced section, I got a Garlic basted med whole chicken, a plain med whole chicken, 2 pks of sausages, 2 pks of cocktail sausages and a pack of baking potato's for £8.73 :) well chuffed, and 2 pks of pasta for £1 in the pound shop, hopefully a few meals there :)

Dh is supposed to get paid tomorrow but they have done the late wages yet again :( now he won't get paid til monday. Not Impressed.

That is a non-option! No thank you! Don't want one! No no no no no!!!! (I'm shy!)

    Poor ol' mentors!

D'ya know I was  at the thought of the coil but I've had to go down that route and had a mirena fitted. Best thing I've ever done so I wouldn't rule it out :D Honestly it's really not as bad as you think.

Claire: Bi-carb is brilliant! When our old dog was poorly and having accidents I used it all the time and as smokers I've used it on carpets etc and it's worked everytime.

Well done on your bargains from Morrisons - wish we had one. Sorting jars out to plan my hampers today and am trying to pluck up courage to investigate the shed now!

  • Anyway, I wanted to talk about having the injection instead of the pill... I have quite high blood pressure, which has never bothered me before - but after mum's stroke, it's one small thing I can do to reduce my risk... well that and losing weight (3lb so far - but I reckon that's the jumper I was wearing!)x

Have you thought about the implant? Same drug as some of the pills but a lower dose as it is continuous. I am on my 3rd (they last 3 years) cos I'm carp at remember to take a pill every day! They give you a local then put it under the skin of your arm. Then you forget about it - hmm, wonder when my 3 years is up, thanks for the reminder!

It's really not that bad! :rotfl: And once it's in there, you have one check up, then they pretty much leave you alone for 5-10 years :D

Anyway, not here to talk you into having one, you do what's right for you :T

I've got one of them too - took a while to settle down for me but in general I like it.

The Mirena is wonderful and as a bonus it made a huge difference to my bad back. In fact my osteopath pointed out that it was probably time to have it renewed as she was starting to see too much of me after a long gap. Even more of a bonus - I sailed through 'the change' literally without noticing!! Sorry if this is too much info but it really made a huuuge difference to my life!!
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
