  • Just been texted that "one of my boys" - that is one of the ones I used to feed Sunday dinner to at college has got his new series starting tomorrow.

9pm on BBC1 - Zen, He (Rufus Sewell) plays Aurelio Zen - Italian Detective. Kind of like Wallendar.

Ladies ........................ he is sooooooo pretty you are just gonna have to watch (I'm just a little biased :D)

I've just read that Pete Postlethwaite's died - I loved him - he ws a fantastic actor & seemed a genuine person too. Such a shame

And I couldn't watch BBC 1 last night - in fact, I couldn't watch anything as there was a power cut from 8.30 to 11. Had to go & dig out the blackout box to get the wind up radio to listen to.

Had a great night with that & a book though....

I love the idea of a blackout box - very sensible. Not like me who has to think where are the torches etc when we have a powercut!

Yes I too loved Pete Postlethwaite, he was a great actor and so versatile.

Tenmah - we used to live in a farm cottage with overhead electricity lines into it. We would lose power when it snowed, when the wind was strong & sometimes just for fun - the blackout box was a necessity - even down to having a travel alarm so we were still able to get up for work on time

Necessity being the mother of invention & all that

I forgot about the programme last night - but clever husband has recorded it. We love the books.

Also, there are further ideas for discussion on the Matrix board.

I don't know if you missed my post a page back but I asked did you get my PM?

It is about the course I attended and its unusual that I can't get in touch with your business at all (after parting with £160 I would have thought there would be some aftercare, it was unusual that I got no communication about the course too not even confirmation of payment or venue) when I need to get some information re something that was promised. I didn't think it would be professional if I put my queries on here so have been trying to do it privately but you seem to always ignore me??
