MG - my fridge/freezer & cupboards are like yours. So DH has come on board & we're going to see how long we can make £100 last.........
Will go out today & acquire it & sit it in a bowl & then will

OMG - WHY IS DIEGO ROLLING IN THE SNOW - THERE BETTER NOT BE A SMELLY THERE AS WELL

    Sorry - short attention span
£100 will be used until it runs out. Fuel & bills are not included in this though.

I love the idea of your dream map with DS1 MG! And how lovely that he wants to learn to cook :T And wanting to pay for his own schooling too - what a responsible young man you're raising! :T :T Well done you! :T:T (and good luck with him doing some of his learning at home - sounds like he does already anyway :D) xx

Ditto about over full frindge and freezer. This cannot be healthy - but I am not cooking anything till the food I cooked for New Years has been eaten. Admittedly I did cook for an army (a small one) and had only four people for dinner.

This nweight thing - MG have you seen a book called the Metabolic Diet (or something similar)? I am going to read it today and have it on my Kindle (if you are interested can try and learned how does one share on Kindle; if this not possible will be making a stinck with Amazon). And I am still ready to challenge you, my friend, since I also seem to have gone the other way (bigger now than when started trying). How about two pounds a week? This is healthy and I am not very patient person.

Now back to some housework - and of course getting dressed for all of us.

MG - Have you tried to contact Claire? I have pm'd her but no reply. I am a bit worried as she hasn't been on FB either.

Well like my Granny used to say ..... "back to auld claes n porridge"

Has anyone else ended up the festive season with MORE food in stock than ever??? Feel the mother of all storecupbard challenges coming on. :D
    MG

The auld clothes and porridge was one of my mum's favout=rite sayings too........

I think I went into seige mentality re buying food because we couldn't get out to do shopping with the snow so when we did manage..... I had a bit of a panic thinking I'd never fit everything into the freezer and why did I buy so much reduced and bogoff stuff? It was a bit like one of those kids games with the tiles where you have to move one round so you can move the next one up or down, but in the freezer. Did manage to get everything in eventually but then couldn't find the plastic container of oatcakes - of course discovered them in the freezer days later. Just as well the cat kept moving :D

Think we've got enough to do us a few weeks in there :o

Happy eating folks, am thinking I might make some hobnobs later. Teapot x
