AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! Its snowing!!! Not supposed to snow until this evening!!!!!

Only and inch or so - so kids are up having a quick breakfast and as soon as DS2 is fed I will post him into his wellies and toorie and hed off.

He is so excited about seeing his how today that we just have to get there:D

My thoughts are still with you DT - everyhing crossed for a perfect outcome.

BTW thank you (and you know who you are) for all the PM's regarding the "Secret Santa" stuff we are playing wth - someone referred to it as "the Advent Calendar for Grown Ups" I'm glad you are having as much fun popping on here every morning as I am thinking of what to surprise you with.

Gotta run and get DS's dressed and on the way - so look out for me late afternoon when a masterclass in good old-fashioned, stick to your ribs Clootie Dumpling will be undertaken.

If you fancy making it you will need, as well as usual flour and sugar and stuff. Mixed spice, suet, treacle an dried fruit.

Funeral went well and the house was appreciated. After work today have to go and put the old ladies back to rights. Came in from funeral last night and felt really bleugh again, don't feel much better today - but have to go to work.

No snow yet but doesn't look like it will be long.

Well 9 days to Christmas and I have a list of things to do and am about 10 days short :rotfl: Tired and hurting but on the plus side have got the dates for the new medication. Start the new tablets on 27th and then my two infusions are 12 and 26 January. So 2011 is looking good :cool:

No snow here either but according to reports shouldn't be here until Saturday - benefits of living in the middle

HELP PLEASE!

I need some assistance in seeing a positive spin on something please. I work in a team of 6 accountants. 5 of them are CIMA accountants, and the office junior has just passed his CIMA case study. I am the odd one out (in so many different ways!) because I studied the CIPFA qualification. For CIMA accountants they need to fill out a form, get a signature and boom, they are qualified. For me as a CIPFA accountant, well, I need to write a bloody book in comparison. Whilst i have made a start on it... due to life and other associated evils, I have not managed to finish it or get it ready to be submitted. I feel like a complete failure, not to say bloody nervous, that I am the only accountant in the team not to be fully qualified with letters after my name.

Do not compare yourself for a start and trust me having letters after your name doesn't necessarily make you good at your job
You've made a start which is good - is it possible to schedule some time say in the new year for you to finish it??
