Oh my goodness Winky, you've really been through it!! Sending reiki and hugs for a good recovery xx

My DD is ill at the moment and I bless the NHS, my parents' doctor went to see her at their house yesterday, our surgery is very anti home visits, so I'm glad she's up there, even if I am missing her like mad...

All I can say Winky is thank goodness for eagle-eyed midwives.:T.
I'm soooooooo sorry you've had such a rough time, it must have been really scary for you, especially having to deal with a little one and being in recovery from major abdominal surgery too. Really hope you are your way now to a full recovery, and can relax a little and enjoy Xmas with your family.
    Sending you positive healing vibes.
    Much love.

Winky! That sounds like its been terrible for you - very glad to hear that your midwife spotted things were wrong and got you back to the hospital. Liverpool hospitals can be very wonderful a lot of the time - excellent that your experience was one of the good ones. I hope you're taking it very, very easy.

  • Welcome back Winky, what an ordeal, so sorry you've had such a florid time of it. Yes, we are so lucky with the NHS, that healthcare is there when we need it without thought about how we as individuals can afford it.

I hope after your DH returns to work, that you can manage to keep resting as much as possible and can build up your strength again.

    Hugs

Winky, I wondered how you were doing. How awful that you have been through such a horrid time when you should be celebrating. Thank goodness for the midwife and her speaking to the hospital. I too have nothing but praise for the Liverpool Women's Hospital, having had the misfortune to have to be treated there. The staff are nothing short of wonderful and to allow you to have Little Winky with you is just great. I bet your hubby feels like he is reeling at the moment. Hope that there is somebody there to support all of you through this. I find that when a person is ill they are just getting on with dealing with it, the people around are trying their best to be strong but can sometimes be in a blind panic. Big hugs to all of you and a special thank you to hubby for looking after you all and coping.
