DT - I know you said you need a viewfinder camera, but this is a cheap, decent looking camera and you can't really go wrong by the looks of it - at avon (through quidco) spend 10 quid on something and get the camera for 25 quid. xxx
I really do need a viewfinder I just don't get on with cameras without OH has a small digital camera and I hate it

Does anyone know if work can force me to have my photo taken and published on a poster to be displayed in public areas (reception I think)?
They are coming to snap us, and apparently its compulsory.
I don't like having my photo taken. I look like a hippocrocopig, I look like a freak (and I am a bit rebellious). I have offered to supply my own wee-mee style image, but basically they've told me that they will take my photo and that's it.... Are they allowed to publicly display it without my permission?
And how do I tell them no without being seen as a trouble maker?0 -

Unfortunately, you may find it is something you have agreed to when you signed your contract of employment.0 -

I'm going to check now... I've been here for a couple of years and got away with Little Miss Naughty everywhere else I've worked (oh the irony!)
Where do I stand if there's nothing in there? Is it covered by the Data Protection Act0
