Yesterday was a nightmare day with OH running to the loo every 5 minutes, or so it seemed, he was so worn out he went to bed and slept till 6.30pm last night, have just been in and given him brekkie.
I was going to have a lie in, managed an extra 20 minutes.......another little furry body this time in the middle of the floor, so I can see the missing trap had possible gone under the sink unit........eeeeuuuuukkkkkk, no smell as yet. Was saying to OH if I catch many more I am going to gave to get the rodent people in..........hope the bin men do not examine our rubbish tomorrow there are 3 dead bodies in it maybe 4 by the time they collect the bin.
I hear stirrings, OH is up, hope today is a better day for him.
Nothing planned, I am getting terminally bored with doing nothing, will have to see what I can find........
Think it will be prok chops for tonight........0 -

Good morning, and happy Birthday HH

The house elf has been up since 3:52am. Does anyone know where I could swap him for a slightly longer sleeping model? No, thought not.
Yesterday I promised him that if he was good and played in the playroom while I cleaned the rest of the house then we would do some cooking. This room now looks like a bomb has hit, but the rest of the house is sorted. We also made Frosty Fairy Fudge from a Christmas Fairy cookbook we found in Hobbycraft. His friend made some to take home too. We will be wrapping ours into parcels to give to friends, so that is a job for later, as well as ironing.
Take care all of you0 -

Sooo i did thinking about my wedding yesterday, OH's aunt is gonig to make my dress for me, OH's dad is a semi professional photographer so him and a mate (for when we want him in the shots) can do the photography. I want a masquerade themed reception aaannnd today i'm going to look at honeymoon locations.
Belly of pork for lunch today, got to go to Waitrose to get it, and stuff for stuffing too.
Need to vacum the house again as we have a trouble maker amoung us, we spied on the rabbit last night and she picks her sawdust up in her paws and pushes it out the bars, cheeky mare.

Morning all,
Nice breezy day today, but brrrr its cold, got one load of bedding on the line and another in the wm.
DD is still in bed, will go and get her up after posting this, cant believe she used to be one of the ones up at 4 or 5 in the morning :rotfl: its does get better I promise.
We are off out for lunch today with mum and dad and sis and her partner to celebtate mums birthday, so no cooking for me today, will just have a sandwich for tea. At the cheap shop I managed to get a pork knuckle for £1.99, and a huge pack of Haslet for the same, so plenty of cold meat here, should last us the week.
Need to have a tidy round, and remake the beds.
:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to Hester, have a good day xx0 -
Morning all--Happy Hester's birthday! and hope the switch on goes well tonight Jackie G.
Doesnt feel at all Christmasy let alone winter like here. its a bright sunny day with a nice warm feel about it.
i have recovered from my cold but over the last few days i have been laid up with a very painful abssess on my gum. i blame the dentist because i find it too co-incidental! that he pokes about with his tools and it happens--he asked me if i had been using a tooth pick!!
i feel lazy today and have no plans to go out despite the lovely look out there. Mrs De is cleaning now because our cleaner has cancelled this week and she likes the place looking spick and span.-i will lay low and nurse my pain. Tomorrow is return to work day so i need to rest up in hope i can get back to feeling 100pc again-it has been 3 weeks since i started this run of 'unwellness' and i am getting really fed up with the struggle!!
i am beginning to think about the New Year coming and any alterations i need to make in my life style! My birthday happens at the beginning of January and i will look at last years list to review my successes and anything i have missed out doing. i have got to feeling that 47 going on 48 is beginning to sound old and i need to start enjoying life for the moment and not always thinking of everything in the (not too distant) future!-seize the day --easy to say and very hard to do!!
Gxxmfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
Morning all. Cold and boring day, woke up early and went for a run and nearly froze to death! Have just been doing uni work since then. I can feel it's going to be one of those long boring days where I lose all motivation... haven't got anything planned for roast, just have roast potatoes with err frozen burgers?

Hello all!
Happy Birthday Hester - hope you have a lovely time
Well, nothing much doing for me today - have walked the dog and listened to The Archers; am now thinking of going back to bed to read for a bit!
The house needs tidying, but as OH was at home last week it needs only a quick wipe down as he's scrubbed it clean!
Dinner today will probably be Quorn chilli with baked potatoes or Quorn stroganoff, it'll depend what I'm in the mood for. At some point the OH will return, but it could be midnight, depending on end time of the exercise.
Apart from that, I'l probably not do anything but lounge around and savour the fact that it'll be about 7/8 weeks until I have to have a 05:30 start!
Have a good day everyone and stay warm - it's freezing here!
