    Morning:D

    off to wedding dress fitting at 11:ohope it still fits after all the mince pies I have eaten recently;)...3 weeks today:eek:
    DS had several meltdowns last night and I feel like we are walking on eggshells as even looking at him the wrong way sets him off:o....I think his tourettes is bothering him as he keeps grimacing and making a rather forceful "deeee" noise.....its fun in our house;):p
    Depending on what time I get back i may wrap some more presents and start sorting out if I need to buy anything else.

    Penpin what terrible news:(
    Redruby how is your dad?( and mum)
    bargainbird what was the dream:cool:? i had one about DS`s teacher last week:eek:.....won`t be able to look him in the eye ever again:o
    bitsy hope DS is ok today.....it is frustrating...even though DS talks well in a physical sense ie he can make the sounds, it often makes no sense and a lot of it is echolalia. You rarely get a proper answer esp to questions like what is bothering him etc. He tried to tell me the other night why his brain was different but I still don`t understand it:o. There is a game thing at the back of that Parenting a child with Aspergers book which may help?
    JackieG do you need some lactulose with your painkillers;):p

    well better go to my fitting.....having to take my awful Spanx pants for under dress to pul in any lumps and bumps:cool:...good job OH doesnt know that under the dress my underwear looks like mrs doubtfire:eek:

    Thanks for the book recs NPM. DS hasn't had a major meltdown today :T He doesn't really do echoalia any more, but he doesn't seem to understand questions about feelings etc. Anyway he's been a bit happier today (although still not overly keen on school but he didn't seem terribly anxious about that so that's something).

    Hope your dress fitting went well - can't believe it's 3 weeks away :eek:
    With regards to dream i couldn't possibly spill all but it was about an old friend and about huge things i mean knee length:o:eek:

    Have finished all my errands, cleaned kitchen, hoovered, fabreezed:D. Need to make bread, chutney too. DS is over on the other chair looking bleary eyed so me time is approaching ;).

    Oh forgot to say made HM paninis last night, used part baked baguettes, filled put in george foreman hey presto a delish panini :T
    Go on say it "We new that aaaaages ago".....

    knee length :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    I have a GF grill - it never sees light of day :o:o:o and I didn't know about using it for HM paninis so I've learnt something new today ;)

    csarina - those items you've made are lovely :D

    You are such a crawler! :p :rotfl::rotfl:

    Actually, I use mine a lot, its very good for grilling veg as an alternative to roasting, which saves using the oven, and I do my veggie hotdogs and burgers and things on it. I could do with a bigger one, but I am too tight :o

    Hello all,

    Very cold here to-day, have put out some washing but not bothered to take it in this evening as we had some light showers....there is to be no rain to-morrow.

    PP....hugs for you and your friend.

    Dinner to-night was venison steak that my brother passed on, with sweetcorn, onions and mash...don't normally like venison but this was delicious.

    Trying to get organised....definitely going to wrap and label the presents I have already bought at the weekend....keep forgetting what I have bought for whom!

    Must transfer some money so that I can pay my car insurance and tv license...

    Just had a phone call from my brother to ask me could he give a bone to a six-week old puppy, younger nephew arrived home with her to-night, she is a labrador/spaniel cross. He is adamant that she is only staying for the weekend but I know what will happen, he will fall in love and that will be that, although he will continue to complain...I laughed at him which didn't go down too well!

    Managed a NSD to-day, most of the budget has gone for this month but am not going to overspend and that is that!

    Hugs to all in need or want, sleep well and keep warm

    Me? I don't have a brown nose :rotfl::rotfl:

    H won't eat beef mince, I never roast veg :o and sausage I just cook in the oven (it has to be the bloomin' awful Be Good To yourself sausage which hardly any actual meat in it :rotfl:) so this is the reason why it NEVER gets used.

    Evening all, currently sandwiched between a snoring OH and snoring puppy, no chance of sleep for me just yet!

    My temp work doesn't start till monday now as the supervisor is ill, so have a long weekend before that. It worked quite well really as timing between interviews was getting a bit sticky. I should find out about the 2 i went for today tomorrow. I hope i get an offer, i really really do. I withdrew my application from the one tomorrow as i know long term i would not stick at it or enjoy it, and although i shouldn't be choosy i don't want to do a job i hate.

    need to do a tiny food shop tomorrow and also start thinknig about a present for OH. I was thinking a ronnie barker box set, I bought him steptoe and son 2 years ago (would you believe he is only turning 26!) and he insists on having it on the telly every night, I swear that theme tune will the last thing i hear before i die. I can't take it anymore!! So I think he likes Ronnie Barker, and i think it's something i can fall asleep to, so will see what offers i can find online.
