If thats the case Jellie I also recommend you stay away from Spain :o:o:o... we returned from honeymoon with a stowaway then too. She is 2.5 now and cheeky with it. Safe to say me and DH will be surrendering our passports :rotfl:

Well another day done. Not a NSD, I went to a PUB!! for lunch!! with no kids!!! I then went to matalan and bought 2 nightshirts for hospital bag for £2.50, some little cosy knitted slipper things £1 for 2 pairs, a newborn outfit for £2 and some baby socks/mits for 25p a pack. I then went a bit bonkers because the monkey bedding the girls wanted for big girl beds was reduced to £3.50 a set so i bought 2 sets, the laundry basket and toy trugs at £2 and £3 respectively. TBH I think i am happy with it, I spend £12 more than i should of but what I itended on buying was alot cheaper than I though anyway and I would of kicked myself if I had missed that set. Only thing I regret is the rug and curtain were already sold out, our local matalan has 505 off the already 50% off sale prices so stuff was literally flying out the door. Tonnes of bedding for adults and alot of towels/kitchen accesories too but I behaved.

DH is also complaining of being fat... as am I. at the moment i need size 18 pj's I was a 12 but then it was a 12/14 then 14 and TBH just before pregnancy I was feeling the pinch with 14's so labby post baby belly i suspect will still be an 18.

  • You have to shop at Next then Lilac, as their sizing is off and you can kid yourself a bit longer that you are smaller. Really i am a 16 or 18 but still trying to squeeze into 14 jeans. Although a generous fit, I am fed up of the frump. I need to do something about it too, as i have loads of clothes in 14 that would look nice and last me ages if i lost weight, or surrender to being bigger and have to buy a lot of new stuff. It would be cheaper to lose some weight.

That is my sort of feeling too Michelle. Work wise I need to be smart so I tent to wear black trousers, shirts and a suit jacket. It would literally cost me hundreds to replace work stuff, summer is ok because I can hide all manner of sins with a wrap dress but I will return to work in November 2011. Not to mention the amount of 'nice' size 12 and 14 clothes I have in the wardrobe. I was naughty and weighted myself today.. Currently I have around 4st to lose to get to top end of BMI scale now 1.5 of that is easilly baby, fluid and extra blood but there is no kidding myself I have a good 30+lb to lose.

Well OH goes back to work tomorrow, to be honest I will be glad when he does because he just stuffs up my routine. On the other hand I have not had to do brekfast in 4 days and regularly slept until after 10 so I will miss that.

Our first official mortgage payment left the bank account today along with payment for utilities. I am quite happy with that I think, Our overpayment had sent the amount outstanding under 111k but interest added yesterday sent it back up and pretty much wiped out the OP amount. One good thing is that means todays regular payment will pretty much all come off capital. :)
January is always a nasty month bills wise, I don't think the LA have sorted out my council tax yet, well they haven't written to us and said our debit will be any different anyway and today they took the regular monthly amount based on a band A property and this one is a band C apparently.

My 'mission' for January will be to avoid hitting our overdraft.... I have 'concerns' about OH old student account overdraft as it is now attracting interest. I know realistically we do not have the cash to clear it but I am wondering about stoozing.. would there be a way to shift the OD onto a 0% card, It looks like the AER is 19.49% and on a negitive balance of over 2k it is osting us £35 a month. It doesn't help that he still uses the account for his general spends so it seems like he gets £200 a month for him, £35 goes on interest and he spends the full £200 so o/s amount never goes down by very much. He seems to favour using his debit card on that account rather than his C Card. I need to get that mindset changed. as it is we have a pay in full each month C Card for fuel etc so no difference IMO.

Another day down.. Still pregnant. MW hasn't turned up today though :( No idea how late they actually do visits though so :S She was supposed to be booking me a growth scan and a face to fae apt with my consultant so i'm a bit disappointed especially as my BP is steadily climbing and I know i am due bloods. I have number for day assesment and they said any issues i have to go right up but TBH it will take hours.

Next issue.. we have 2 ill kids. colds, pukes, dodgy tummys and all they are doing is drinking fruit juice and sleeping. I really want to avoid disturbing them to go to the hospital. Still calming thoughts..

My plans for today are ruined, I had hoped to do admin and cook a bit too but not happened so far and I was lucky if i gt an hour of undisturbed sleep all evening so could quite cheerfully go to bed now.

I know... My OH response..... were you any good?? :rotfl:

My first thought in the morning was oooo I wonder if there is any money to be made..... I am so so sad.

MIL says i should call antenatal ward and ask to be seen tomorrow morning at the hospital. half the bloods that took last wedesdya coagulated and should of been repeated, I should of had a growth scan booked and a consultant apt plus my BP is climbing steadilly, nothing high high but it is and I have protein all the time, literally every pee.

No doubt the pitbull that mans the antenatal phone with be a moooo but i'm ready for her.
