Warning - new Orange rip-off

Not only are they now charging for non-payment by DD, itemised statements and 0800 dialling, I've just found out about another hidden charge.

You now have the pleasure of paying a fixed amount for every text message delivery report you get. Lovely!

thats been happening for a while same time as the non DD charger went up 1p per message i think

I'm on OVP Virgin and I have delivery reports on and I haven't been charged for them.

I think they're only charged for Orange standard tariffs. OVP is no longer offered, though.

I also don't pay extra for itemised billing on OVP Virgin. Am I right in saying that they charge it for today's tariffs though?

I've never noticed this, probably because I don't get itemised billing for free anymore. I'll need to sign up to the intenet billing to confirm this. It seems Orange are going to be loosing a lot of customers. I wonder how long it is till they start charging for 0845/0870 numbers?

Yeah, cheeky ****s. Charge for the itemised bill so noone notices the other charges they're slapping on!

0845/0870 is chargeable - unless you are on OVP O2 tariff.
