Got another one just now. When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0

Yes me as well , this is the only account I use with this username anywhere. So it had to be from here. Ah dearie me.0

I got one too but deleted it with the rest of my junk mail - could tell it was a fake seeing as it said moneyexpert but I didn't think about the fact they used my user name0

i haven't had one yet0

I got one in my Spam folder - only recieved it in the last hour though it says it was sent at 12.57.
I never give my real details when I register with a forum (did it once and never again ) and only noticed the email because of this thread - the fact it said moneyexpert would have been enough to ignore it and I wouldn't even have noticed it used my forum name in the body of the text.0 -
Just wondering how much money Martin Lewis made selling off our email addresses? I don't tend to buy that 'we were hacked b/s'. The coming months -v- what lands in the inbox from these 'lost' email addresses will tell.
I am, of course, hoping Martin Lewis has registered with the ISO for data protection and this breach has been reported?0 -
Got one too0

Looks like our details have been compromised for over a year then, as per the link in the OP. The link also refers to MoneyExpert.
I will be monitoring this closely before determining whether requesting all my account details be deleted as a minimum course of action as I would no longer have any faith in MSE
How many more spam mails has this been responsible for that did not have any obvious link to MSE?
Again, please, this was nothing to do with Moneyexpert who are just an innocent party in this.0 -
Received the email this morning.
It was in the hotmail junk folder.
It got dumped like the rest of the junk emails.

Well, I guess that's one of the most constructive contributions anyone could post on this thread at this time. Me and the hackers thank you most sincerely for giving us exactly what we want to read.0
