  • Copied from my original post at 7.50 this morning.....

I'm a bit concerned that today I've received an email addressed to my MSE name to my email address. I haven't got my email address on my contact information.

It's from 'moneyexpert' and gone to my spam folder but it just shows how much people can find out...
  • Me to, but with my username slightly different to the correct one. It resides in the little round container.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Why didn't I receive anything????

I feel left out now.

Having said that, I did recently receive an e-mail telling me how I can enlarge my *****. I'll let you know whether or not it works. ;)
Like others I have received the SPAM email today.
But coincidentally I have this week started to receive
the "enlargenent" emails. Next step is to go onto comparison sites to see who offers the greatest improvement!

Thanks mikey, I hadn't time to check. Both the website and Broker Support Ltd (of which moneyexpert.com is the online representation) are entirely upfront and legitimate UK businesses.

What's of more surprise in recent posts here is that some people actually use the same online identity and same password relating to that identity in different forums. Good God, why?

Treading through cyberspace in a white shirt with a large target embroidered on the back is about as risky as it's possible to get.

I have just received a spam e-mail from moneyexpert.com with timestamp 14:49. It has my username for this forum and was also sent to an e-mail address that's only used for this forum! That suggests to me that there's a breach in security somewhere.

Just realised I received the email in question earlier today. Didn't notice whether or not it contained my MSE Username, but did notice that it said it came from 'Money Expert', so I deleted it without really looking at it properly.
I have had various 'enlargement' emails too....

Like others, I received an email from them today, using my MSE username.
