Can I ask, how will the police ascertasin/know that the car is meant to be in a secure car park if they can't get hold of th owners?

If the police can't get hold of the owners would they remove the vehicle?

If so that's really mean to want to have the vehicle of someone who is on holiday towed away, without their knowledge when they've paid a company to safely park it.

I imagine coming home from abroad to that situation would be horrendous - poor people.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

??? Why should they be in a secure car park? I don't understand that one bit. Perhaps I'm missing some kind of legislation or law which states if you go on holiday you must leave your car in a secure car park.

Really? Maybe because that's what the people pay for? Otherwise wed all find a nice side street nearby and get the bus. Much cheaper.

They had this on watchdog a couple of months ago. I believe one persons car was picked up by the police (or at least on one show highlighting a similar problem). Needless to say, it didn't go down well.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.
  • Next time, add a For Sale sign making sure it is well under what the car is worth. :D

Well it's gone.............. for now! Hopefully not to return.
People buy from people don't they. Suggest if you want a Toyota you don't buy from North Herts Toyota of Letchworth.

And once you're done not buying a Toyota, why don't you not eat at Toto's Restaurant, Bury?

We bought a Toyota (not from NHT though).

Wish we'd bought any other make, even French.

I was planning on leaving my car at home, parked on my street, when I go on holiday and get my Dad to drive me to the airport...I wonder if this is not allowed also?

Why not park a car in the spot, displaying this quote on the side of the vehicle for all to see, if he objects you can always say "Its for advertising purposes, and parked perfectly legal and within the law." ;)

Shouldn't be too hard to find out the managers name , maybe find and use his home telephone number ( please call after 7PM ;) ) in the for sale sign. :D
