North Herts Toyota - stop parking your car outside my house

For some reason best known to themselves, North Herts Toyota have started parking their logo'd cars outside my house. My neighbour phoned up to ask why it was there, and they are doing it for advertising purposes!
We're in a quiet culdesac 30+ miles from Letchworth - what good they think it's doing them heaven knows. The bloke at the garage my neighbour spoke to said it's a public road, he'll park where he likes. Fine in theory, but he's parked half on the pavement, which isn't a public road is it.
They left one there for about 3 days a couple of weeks ago, which was no doubt lovely for the people across the road when the funeral cortege came for a family member.
Haven't they got better things to do than clutter up our street which is narrow enough already?

Its shocking the amount of damage a double buggy can do to the paintwork of a car parked on the pavement.
Cul de sacs can be dangerous places0 -
If it's partly on the pavement, I'd report it to the authorities (council/police, whoever it may be) as it's causing an obstruction. At least they should get a ticket and hopefully will be told to move it.
Either that or get the neighbours to agree to park half an inch from it's front and rear bumper at all times. Yes it'll still be there, but when they do come to move it they'll have to get the cooperation of the residents, which they may find isn't that forthcoming. After all, it's a public road so you can park where you like, can't you...?No trees were killed to send this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. - Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson)0 -
Well it's gone.............. for now! Hopefully not to return.
I let my neighbour know, he told me the manager had been quite abusive to him.
People buy from people don't they. Suggest if you want a Toyota you don't buy from North Herts Toyota of Letchworth.
We had already thought of the up close parking, which may come into play if it returns.Make £2025 in 2025

Im fairly sure this is illegal to do and they could actually have the offending car moved in order to get out.0 -
Why not just fill any extra spaces with another car or a skip or something, that way there will be no spaces for them to park in0

But not on a pavement. A lot of councils (including one close to us) have started to crack down on this. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Some tit did that to my car.... Hilarious that they did it right in front of my work's CCTV and I called the police! Loved it! Especially when they tried to complain they couldn't afford it cuz of the babies... Oh well!0
