Too many of you to mention but please can I say how wonderful it is to see so many newbie's dipping into this challenge. If you only get one horrid job done this week it's been worth it. Hope you can all continue to join us as we continue to FLY on the daily FLYlady thread.
Personally I've been crap at the challenge but inspired by you all. I'm still working my way through the piles of paperwork in the office. Ever onward.
Good luck everyone. Punky xx

why dont you feeecycle the ladders- someone can get them for free and you neednt trek to the tip
We have loads of garden waste that we need to take to the tip anyway. We don't have a "green" recycling collection so we have to take it there anyway, plus we can give them to a fella who's always there with a van collecting stuff
Done today :- Clean out Fridge - done & refilled with monthly shop :rotfl:
- Charity shop run - done ... all gone to Red Cross Shop. They even sent out 2 nice young men to help me
- Tip run - POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER and lack of time  OH has promised it will happen Sunday but we'll see
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
table & chairs in kitchen moved, other half of kitchen floor washed, everything moved back
stairs done
our bedroom done - still had boxes not unpacked in there:o and piles of books not on shelves, all sorted now except for some books which I've put in a tidy pile cos they won't all go back on shelves. Will be having new ones soon so I'm not too worried (and it is a very tidy pile) Can now get to window to open curtains.:D
Upstairs hall done
Bit of silver that was OH's Nan's out of box, polished and back on cupboard in living room
Back porch sorted
not done:-
still 1 load of washing to do - couldn't get done today cos it rained
shed - due to rain and also not top of list to do just needs tidying up and stuff taking for recycling (which I can do on way to Tesco's on Sunday)
Ironing - next job_pale_
Phone has rung all beeping day - I came very close to losing my "nice telephone manner!!" Worse for OH though as he has been run ragged today - the look on his face when he walked into tidy house tonight was worth the way my legs are aching! (well nearly:D )
Right off to do ironing - DD's should be making their nightly phone call soon as well - OK I admit it I miss them!
Lots and lots!0 -
ironing done & all put away
absolutely shattered
leg muscles I didn't know I had v. v. sore
off to bed!0 -
Half Term Head to Head Challenge
Monday - drawer rootle: sort, clean and tidy – 5 drawers done!
Cleaned out kichen drawers, tightened up loose drawer fronts, swept out and wiped with cloth, cleaned mouldings on drawer fronts. Discoved a kitchen foil cache! Need to add extra wide foil to shopping list for roasting my turkey. Discovered loads of batteries, several duds so to recycle.
Tuesday - toy fling boogie. Tidied toy cupboard, tidied playroom cleaned playroom windows. Several items listed on Freecycle.
Wednesday - bookshelf declutter – tidied the office bookshelves, Freecycled a lot of things, chucked a lot more.
Thursday - car deep clean – with help of DD, did 2! Found £56.27, so very happy.
Friday - hotspot of your choice. It’ll be surfaces, here. We’re starting with kitchen windowsills (so will do the windows, while I’m there). Additionally, cleared a few "hanging around" jobs.
Thanks, everyone! Ive really enjoyed this mini challenge! It's been great to have your support and encouragement. Looking forward to following next week's. Where are you starting.
