Good Morning Flybabes and Flyboy!

Today's final challenge, in the Head-to-Head (week 1) is the

Hotspot of Your Choice!

We shall be tackling the kitchen windowsills, and those jobs where I haven't "got around to it". I have, therefore, fashioned myself a lovely "Round Tuit", and now that I have one, they will be done!

Will post progress. What you up to TNG, and others?

Troo and Sunny, delighted that there'll be another challenge. I'm off w*** 2 days next week, so may join you!

Oooh feel all embaressed! Don't think I can win really cos if it wasn't for this thread I'd never have got started - I shall have to share my prize with everyone else on the thread who inspired me! Soda crystals & white vinegar all round:T
Work is stupid today so it's going to be hard going but I'm not quitting - I've got a rather nice prize due on Sunday afternoon - DD's coming home to a tidy house.

Have cleaned half of kitchen floor and off to spare room now - don't know how anyone manages with little ones in tow!

Under the stairs cupboard is done :j:j It's where I store the charity stuff until OH takes it there - I got 3 crisp boxes & 3 bons bags worth of stuff just for charity! Also threw out a collection of cardboard boxes ( ) and I've dug out a set of loft ladders I found in the alleyway at the back of the house so they can go the tip. They're no good to us as they're supposed to be attached to another bit so it's time to stop hoarding them and they're going today. Did CLEAR out the fridge, haven't cleaned it out though Will have to do that in a minute.

Plans for today are :

• CLEAN fridge
• Charity shop run
• Tip run - as many times as necessary to clear our yard of bin bags and stuff :eek:

Also need to wash out a paint tray/roller/brushes which have been dirty for over a week , clean out my make-up brushes, make DD's bed (she's stripped it for me :j ), more dishes, ironing and make packed lunches for tomorrow - we're going to Camelot for the day with IL's...booked via Lastminute.com and saved £5 per ticket :money: First time I've been in years!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Time to attack DD's hair so we can get on with errands.... :rolleyes:

why dont you feeecycle the ladders- someone can get them for free and you neednt trek to the tip

hi all well didnt do anything yesterday as ds and dd wasnt well still they are better today so far i have cleaned fridge and oven let the kids make a cake os while i done the oven and said if they didnt let me clean the oven i wouldnt be able to cook there cake right of to do the bathroom tiles now shall update later

Hi everyone

I've been watching this all week (as well as the daily flylady thread)
You've all done brilliantly!! Well done!! Inspired me to tackle the spare room and get stuff put on ebay,so thanks! Also been meaning to take my vertical blinds down and give them a wash, so did that this morning ,whizzed them thru the WM. Back on the window now, lovely and fresh :j Rest of the house is fine, just have to make pastry for a pie for dinner .... Lynz I'd love to see the pics of your newly organized flat!

spare room tidy! Well tidyish .... Well ok you could actually get into the bed and sleep now and I have a spare drawer but opening other drawers and wardrobe is a no no . Put xmas presents & stuff for school fete in stack of cardboard archive boxes that I emptied sorting DD's rooms out so it's passable.
Have also sorted half landing outside DD2's room which is full of shelves of their books - they now have a floor! and books are on the shelves.
Stairs next - shouldn't take long as they are clear of junk as I've been grabbing things as I go up and down answering phone and I've been doing alot of that today!

I'm off to make lasagne, garlic bread and jam doughnut muffins (thanks Lynz) for children and their friends.
