Axa did not go to appeal and have settled the full account. So it shows it oays to fight back with these people and contact the Financial Ombudsman.......they are worth it, so helpful.
I'm a very happy bunny now, thanks to all for your advice.

I just wondered if someone could explain this sentence to me as I keep reading it both ways. Does this mean that they wont pay out on any claim if medical conditions arent declared or just a claim that is in relation to an undeclared condition. I am confused. Ie if you have high blood pressure for example and you break your leg or you covered or not?
    MEDICAL CONDITIONS
We will not pay for any claim arising directly or indirectly as a result of a medical condition (see Definitions Applicable to
the Whole Policy) suffered by you, unless declared to us, agreed by us on your insurance schedule and additional
    premium paid if required.

They will do their best to wriggle out of paying in the event of a claim, so my advice would be to declare everything at least then you have grounds to fight in the event of a claim being rejected. That's what happened to me i did declare the information i had it was still rejected but at least i could fight it along with the back up of the FO.
  • Hi all,
All the travel insurance companies always exclude the pre-existing medical conditions. You must read the fine prints before taking any insurance. Even you must consult with your insurer about each point.

This is not the case. Some accept PEMC's with an additional premium and some at no extra cost, depending on the condition.
