Thanks for that huckster - reviews are appauling!!!!
I am told the address and email address i have is for their head office in ipswich which is where i have emailed it to this morning and i have just had a read receipt so at least i know they have it.

isplumm - i have asked for a transcript and copy of everything in my complaint letter.

Hi ... so you emailed them a complaint letter - I would have sent it recorded delivery by post to a named individual ....

Absolutely. Never trust anything such as an official complaint to email. It should always be posted using a Signed For service.

You're probably right, i just wanted to speed things up really, i'm conscious of the hospital still waiting for payment so wanting to get it sorted.

so now send it by recorded delivery ie. signed for - so they can not deny recieving it.

I have actually had an email from them already, they are opening a full investigation and will come back to me within 20 working days.

Their investigation is now complete they say and they are still saying they will not pay, unless i have any new information for them, so yet again i will be asking for a transcript (which i have already asked for but still not had) of my phonecall.

This is proving so stressful, where the hell i am to find 14,000 euros from to pay for this i do not know.

Have you requested a copy / transcript of the call (And the rest of your file) under a Subject Access Report ?

yes, i requested this in a phonecall and also in my letter i said if the decision wasnt in my favour to send me copies of everything, they have now written to say its not in my favour but have not sent me copies of anything!

You poor soul - no wonder people are sceptical about the integrity of some insurance co's. Thankfully there are a number of knowledgeable people on here to help. It must be awful to be owing this money and your insurance co wriggling out of paying. If you follow the advice of the main posters on here I'm sure you'll get there in the end but please do get all the paperwork from Axxa like they have said - I can see this one going to the ombudsman and you will need all the evidence you can get. Good luck, I wish you well.
