Not too sure on that but you just choose the cheapest option, the major cost is the plot and internment fees which can be 5k or so I know as I buried my Mother this April and it came to about £7kso whats the point in buying a coffin only for it to be burned? or do they remove the body and return the coffin to the funeral director? nice thought that!0 -
My thoughts are with you at this sad time in your life.I recently attended the funeral of my godson and he was cremated.I couldn't understand why his dad decided to have him cremated when they buried his mum years before, until he told me that his sons ashes were going to be buried with his mum.Whatever is decided it will take time to come to terms with the loss, but I took a great deal of comfort from the kind words I recieved from the lovely people on here.I felt like my heart was going to break and sought comfort here and I now value each and every one of them my "virtual" friends as they were here when I needed them the most.Again I am so sorry for your loss.xxPaul Walker , in my dreams;)0
