Hello all, long time no see and I can tell by the state of my house :o I need to get back and organised as the house has slipped from "a little untidy" into CHAOS :o

Biggest thing ATM is that I am having new carpets fitted upstairs and the stairs themselves, however the decor is very very tired (didn't do it properly when we first moved in, and prior to that it looks like it hasn't been touched in years! With 6 years of a child running around the place there's chipped paint everywhere!) so I told the landlady I would decorate before the new carpets went down as soon as my exam was over. My exam was the 15th October and so far I've painted the ceilings in my room & the hall/stairs last weekend :o I need to get sorted as I want to be able to have people round to my house without apologising for the state of it, or the mould  I've had a "show home" before and I can do it again, but not quite to that standard, I want a home not something from Home & Gardens front cover ;)

I'm not going to attempt to keep up with the chat, if I do then I'll spend too long on here and not enough time doing the work and I can't afford to do that with the way the house is. :o I might not even post every day, but I will grab the list each night. ;)

So I'm going to post my list for Monday now & hopefully get it done before lunch so I can iron tomorrow afternoon as its starting to build up again. ETA: Don't think I've lost it saying I can get it done by lunch - my kitchen is tiny lol

    Mon - Phonecalls
Tue - Work, parents evening, Brownies, @ldi shop
Wed - Work, job centre, work
    Thur - Decorating?
    Fri - Work (PM)

    Sun - DD out.

Scrub Out the fridge and defrost the frozen freezer.. use up those bitty bits ready for christmas stocking up!
Wipe table and replace cloth if needed
    Level Three
Clean, degrease/descale and wipe tiles and taps
Wipe through oven and hob to degrot any dribbles
Scrub kitchen floor & replace rug
    Extras

    2. Thoroughly clean out the foody and baking cupboards..

    4. You could make a start on christmas bakin and freeze bits.. once your freezer if free from frozen frost
    5. Speak to landlady about backdoor being fixed due to draft & rain getting in around frame.
    6. Make packed lunch up for Tuesday
I know it seems a big list, but I don't work Mondays and my kitchen needs it. I made a start on Saturday but got distracted by the football in the pub :o

Right, I'm off to put dishes away, do a load so we have clean mugs etc for breakfast and clean DD's shoes. Here's hoping I can stay on the wagon this time :o:rotfl:

    Boddy - (((hugs))) :(

This is my weekly list as I am not meant to do much yet. Although I am hoping as the week goes on I can start picking out a few things from the flying lists to do too.

Bit annoyed again tonight as my little bandage plaster things are really itchy and I cannot seem to find a comfortable position.

    Anyway,...

    1. Write Christmas cards list/cards
    2. Make file of recipes and throw out old magazines - WIP also finding some vouchers :D
    3. Organise lappy files
    4. Start turning granny squares into a blanket
    [STRIKE]5. Do freebies hunt[/STRIKE]
    6. Organise freebies into gifts for chrimbo
    7. Burn piccies and documents onto discs for back ups
    8. Spend ages working out what to do with £5.50 of Tesco point vouchers..
    9. Get back into study and start working on next assignment

Not sure if I have shared this yet but got my result from my first assignment on this my second OU course and have been awarded 82% which I am super happy about..:T

    Special Thanks to FCC :A

Good late evening/early morning to you all xx
Big hugs to you Boddy - so sorry for your loss xx
Well I'm back and hoping as ever to do better! I actually really have to now - apparently the government are stopping giving grants in less than 4 weeks and our house is in real dire need of it! Half a ceiling on one of the living room floors, electrics that go back to the 70's - I kid you not! Damp right the way through the house, a ceiling being held up by a post, water running down one of my walls, asbestos pipe on one of the main walls, holes from outside into our house, etc, etc - I could go on and on :(
I have decided to quit my degree for now - I have far, far too much to do plus I'm going to build my business so that my kids can benefit from the extra money now and me and DH can benefit from early retirement :) I will also have to re-apply for my own job AGAIN in June so have decided to take matters into my own hands and start controlling our own destiny - quite excited about it to be honest :)
So going to do a bit every day after work :)
Did loads today so really pleased with myself including shiny sink and ironed clothes for morning before bed - yay me :)
Must go to sleep now - nighty night all, catch up with you all soon :)

    Morning All

DH's alarm went off at 3 and he's obviously being using his radio as it was on full blast and woke me up with a start - luckily it didn't wake the kids up. He then decided to start talking to me because he knew I was awake. Catnapped after that and then got up at 5.

So far I've unloaded and reloaded the WM & TD. Kids' uniform was in the TD as I didn't realise DH hadn't emptied it yesterday while I was out so that'll probably need ironing before school. Beavers tonight and I'm shattered already so that should be fun.

Better do some ironing and make a start on the kitchen which is still looking pretty good from last week so shouldn't take too long - although I need to do the dishes as well. The DR is a different matter though - need to sort out in there.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Boddy - sorry to hear your news - thinking of you.

Have already done the fridge last week so I have a head start - and one load of washing in too!

Will put up my list tonight after work and decide what I can fit in after work!

With all the crafting I've been doing, my house is starting to go downhill  So I'm going to do a HHC hotspot clearing in each room today :)
