    actually that's not strictly true, she's stripped her bed, which is something, but honestly nothing else. Am soo tired.. bed early I think!! In my best Scarlet voice "tomorrow is another day" :o

    Are you sure she didn't take off your sheets and put her own on and has taken them home again? :p

    I'm in. Hoping this week will be a bit easier as I didn't stop all last week. Used today to get on top of ironing and mending so I am ready to go tomorrow:D. Kitchen day it is.

  • Sagaris my house used to be an absolute tip, would not have anyone over and dreaded unanounced visitors, but now if someone walked in the door i wouldnt be ashamed to show them my house (well just dont look in the kitchen as thats a mess from dinner) but flylady has got me mega organised and into a routine, its amazing and money saving since i no longer want to pay for a cleaner :money:

    right well im going to get off my behind and go and pack then make a start on the kitchen, so tomorrow i can whizz round everthing else on my list.

    I'm in, lurking through the week again, but promise I'll pop in for lists. Speaking of which last week I achieved...

    Monday ~ Living room, Hallway and Porch!

    Level One
    [STRIKE]Remove all the floor clutter and vacuum/Sweep/Mop
    Move furniture and clean under it if you are able.. please don't injure yourselves![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Pile up all the hotspots into one and have a work through with a nice hot cuppa!! (or 3)[/STRIKE] working through paperwork is still wip, but tidy wip now!
    Vacuum and wipe sofas.. don't forget the backs.. they too get dusty and grubby
    [STRIKE]vacuum shades on lamps and wipe the bases[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Sort coats and shoes, bags and hallway gibble, umbrellas and wellies!
    Dust degrot electrical appliances[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Dust light fittings and picture rails[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]binbag dance[/STRIKE]
    3. Sort finances as best you can up to the New Year (make sure you won't be destitute over the festive period!)
    4. Start writing those christmas cards and wrapping those presents!! Parcels and cards going over to Australia need to be posted very soon! CHECK HERE FOR LAST POSTING DATES!
    Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    Wipe fronts of appliances and units
    Scrub the oven and grill pan and hob.. soak the burners and knobs so they come up like new
    [STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Clear and wipe window sills
    Wipe through fridge to degrot any dribbles
    Clean and/or replace all the filters and deterrgent drawers/dispensers.. this includes extractor hoods etc
    Extras
    1. wash window sills
    2. Thoroughly clean out the cupboard with pans and plastic boxes.. if there is no lid fling it!
    3. Clean fluff and webs from extractors/vents
    4. If you've not already done so make a christmas meal plan, look up recipes etc and plan a trial run of anything new!!.. Write the appropriate shopping list!
    Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and landing
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter floor and floordrobe
    Strip, wash and replace bedding
    [/STRIKE]Level Two
    [STRIKE]Vacuum Floors
    Dust and Deweb
    Binbag dance[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Tidy the under stair cupboard
    [STRIKE]Wipe down the paintwork
    Tidy away and shoes or books that are strewn about[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Find some bits to send to charity shop/recycle
    2. Wash windows
    3. Wash any curtains etc that need it
    4. Sort through your make up and smellies.. are there any that can be rehomed/chucked?
    Thursday ~ Bathroom and study..
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Declutter floors
    Clean bath, loo, shower.. etc etc.. you get the idea.. [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    Mop/vacuum floors
    Wipe the desk keyboard monitor etc..
    Pull out the desk and clean under and behind.. :D
    15 minutes filing
    Level Three
    Clean doors
    Empty and wash out bins
    Clean radiators/fires in these rooms
    Extras
    1. Wash windows and sills
    2. Decant dribbles from bottles into fuller ones and bin those empties
    3. Wipe over sofas & chairs in these rooms
    4. Clean paintwork
    Friday ~ Kiddies rooms, Spare rooms or another neglected room
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Declutter and vacuum the floor
    Tidy away all the toys and clothes and games and books that are in the wrong places
    Spend half an hour doing something for yourself.. you time is very important![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    Strip and wash bedding and replace with clean.. vacuum and turn mattresses if needed
    Wash any other soft furnishings.. curtains etc
    Sort through a chest of drawers.. dispose of anything that is outgrown, worn out
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Dust and deweb
    Wipe over the bedframes and paintwork
    [/STRIKE]Binbag dance!
    Extras
    1. Wash windows and sills
    2. [STRIKE]Wipe all the upstairs doors.. both sides![/STRIKE]
    3. Sort through one box or drawer filled with miscellaneous gibble.. from any room.. it just needs it!!

    Wipe through oven and hob to degrot any dribble[/STRIKE]s
    Get the winter emergency box ready for the car.. just in case SEE HERE for ideas!

    Extras
    [STRIKE]wash window sills[/STRIKE]
    Thoroughly clean out the foody and baking cupboards..
    [STRIKE]Run machines through a clean cycle[/STRIKE]
    You could make a start on christmas bakin and freeze bits.. once your freezer if free from frozen frost
