Morning campers – sorry haven’t been around lately, have had a bit going on. But I am around now and raring to go.

:jWelcome to all the newbies xxx:j

It’s blooming freezing here, and I stupidly forgot to turn the heating up last night, to allow for the temp drop overnight. So the heating came on and now
the living room is a “balmy” 17 deg..lol . I have popped the rads up on highish so that they take the chill off the living room, then will turn them down to their normal temp. But I am not sitting here freezing…brrr!! Even the dogs think it’s cold, they are all curled up in tiny balls and wrapped up in fleecy blankets..lol The cats are asleep on the hot pipes upstairs, bless them..:D

Fed the birdies this morning, had to smash the water bowl it was frozen solid..
:eek:The birds were all sitting in their prospective seats waiting for me to feed them, then when I put the seeds out it was like they hadn’t been fed for several days – so many sparrows descended..lol Woody and Mrs Woody, Mr and Mrs Dove appeared from absolutely nowhere and took over the bird seed..lol. Asbo robin and his mate the blackbird were sitting in the bushes waiting for their turn ..:rotfl:

M.I.L. and her sister are doing well – although Aunt is refusing anyone to visit her in hospital for some reason.
:( They are talking about transferring her to some sort of convelescent place, not a hospice though which is something I suppose. M.I.L. had some tests the other day and a biopsy, she is pretty upbeat and so is the surgeon thankfully. It sounds like they have caught it in very early stages. It looks very good for her so she is a lot brighter and isn’t thinking of all doom and gloom now. I’m also feeling more upbeat for her, although still worried as you can imagine. I am still talking to M.I.L. every night, I think she needs someone to talk to that isn’t F.I.L. or hubby.. My B.I.L. seems to be taking it all in his stride as per normal when things are major.. The one thing that will come out of this is that my M.I.L. will be considerably closer …:D:j

Boddy sweetheart, hope you are doing okay at the moment. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family at this time. Huge hugs xxx
    Kazmeisterwb sweetie xxx
Shysarahglad everything went okay at the hospital, but please make sure you rest and don’t overdo things xx

LWhope you are doing okay today and that the workmen delivering the doors aren’t making you too stressy. xx

Jenagain congratulations finding out you are having a baby boy .. :D
Onestep sending your DH lots of positive vibes for his job interview later xx
Maybemischief a run cycle is when you just put white vinegar in the washing machine and run it on the hottest cycle you can do, with nothing else in it. It cleans all the pipework etc from the machine.

Love and hugs to everyone, especially
Toots, LL, Diva and Boddy xx

Any vinegar will do, malt or distilled..

Coke put down the toilet bowl is a limescale remover.. Put it down before you all go to bed, then flush it in the morning.

Cheap will do hon.. And it's not Nattyt, it's just plain Natty - Nattyt is another poster. I imagine she will get very confused when she reads the posts and wonders what she knows about vinegar..lol

For the keyboard/telephone etc I use a spray of stardrops/white vinegar/water mix and then spray it on a cloth and wipe them.
