Morning all, thank you for all the congratulations! I'm thrilled to be having another boy, although I remembered last night about the whole weeing in the eye thing :rotfl: I was hoping to be able to sew some pretty dresses but trousers & tshirts are easier anyway ;) I'm meeting some friends in town later so might go and buy some blue wool to start knitting something for him, I have been knitting baby stuff since our 12 week scan and have enough cream hats and mittens to last a lifetime :rotfl:

I'm going to start off with another HHC in my bedroom at 10.00 if anyone wants to play? It gave me such a good boost yesterday and DH was so impressed with what I got done in there - of course I didn't tell him it only took half an hour!

I've washed 1 load and got another one in. I'll do one more after that and then I need to take it all to the launderette to dry as we have no space, and one load alone takes about 3 days to dry if I hang it in the bathroom!

I'll get going on the list after my HHC, I hoovered the bathrooms yesterday so a quick whizz round with the mop will make them sparkle.

    hoover taken upstairs

clothes on the radiator from last night are still drying so i cant finish the ironing just yet.

now off to do another HHC x 2 at 10am, anyone care to join me?

I am aiming in this to pack all clothes, shoes, make up, toiletries, painkillers, hair dryer, camera, wedding present and card, hen night present into my huge holdall. then im going to aim to have a whizz round my bedroom floor as its just became a little messy whilst i was sorting out what i was taking with me.

then i am going to clean the bathroom, have a shower, get dressed, hoover all floors upstairs, make my bed and then see what else i can do if ive still got time.

I'm in for the HHC, a little late I know.... and I'm off!
  • Okay in my HHC I have:

Emptied and cleaned kitchen and bathroom bins
    Put out recycling brrrr
Checked all drawers and cupboards in kitchen but found no more mouse droppings so it looks as though it was only under the sink.
Unloaded the DW and put all pans carefully back
    Swept and mopped kitchen floor

Yesterday I bought a nice Greek recipe book so I’m just going to have a half hour looking through it, then I’ll make a start on the bathroom and study

    xx

Well in my HHC I managed to Hoover Kitchen Dining Room floor
Empty bin in Downstairs Loo (DL)
    Polish Mirror in DL
    Shine the 12 tiles
    Clean & Shine the sink
Wipe the door over (both sides & handles)
    wipe radiator
    Sweep all the pipes
    Sweep floor
Clean loo ( I always clean it but today all this black goo came from under the rim it was gross! So fly lady has dislodged summink:o)
Poured bleached under rim and into bowl and left toilet brush in there to clean too
    Wiped cistern and handle
wiped glade airpump freshener ( no window so needs must!!)
Sprayed floor with Stardrops/ bleach and letting it do its thing -will go back in after posting this to mop
Hoovered no1 hallway(it's only ickle) whilst on my way through to the lounge where I managed to hoover the large rug.
sadly ran out of time to hoover carpet but will do that after too.

Sigh if only all challenges in life could be conquered in half an hour bursts..............

    love 'n' Rainbows
