Nice one Yorkie! Average is 9 minors so we did well - though in my feedback at the end my examiner said '7 is more than we like to see here'... on drive back with my instructor he was fuming at the instructor for saying that, as he'd said it to one of his other students too. He's a more awkward examiner, but what do I care, better than the average and I am now free!
Plannint to take that all important first drive on my own tomorrow, maybe round the block - what about you Yorkie?
Have my P plates and boy did it feel good to take off those L plates yesterday.
Thanks again everyone for your support - when you are in that state of mind it's so hard to see light at the end of the tunnel and even though so many of you had already passed I was most humbled by your insightful and patient replies.
So one more... surprise... Not only did I pass my test yesterday but on the day before we saw the scan of our baby for the first time, so they 'came with me' on the test and I am so pleased I will always be able to tell them that story. Most incredible and life changing 48 hours!MFW #185

Thanks Liquorice Twirls - yes it's been quite a week! I am driging solo for the first time later on today, a bit nervous but it's a moment I wanted for so long, it's exciting too.
Have a lovely weekend all!MFW #185
