Take it easy, stay calm and don't worry yourself too much about failing. Good luck! (actually I hope you are a good driver and won't need any luck, just plain old fashion good driving).

I haven't read through all the thread but just wanted to wish you luck. I passed my test last year, after failing 4 times :( I changed my instructor after the 4th test :) and he was a brilliant instructor.

I was ready to give up and each time, it was my little son who would say, you will do it and you CAN do it.

Take deep breaths, stay calm, go to toilet before and have something to eat, but nothing to heavy. If you can try and listen to some calming music.

Some examiners don't mind you being friendly and chatty, so you will know when your in the car. Take your time, if you don't understand what you have been told or you didn't hear properly, ask again.

I took me three attemps to do my manouver and I did it. If you make a mistake, don't worry and don't let it put you off. Most importantly be positive but not over confident. Just tell yourself you will pass.

    Good Luck :)

My reply was too late as their test is this morning. So I hope it helps you. Remember your mirrors, blind spot and your speed. Don't hurry and don't rush your manouvers. And be calm and smile :) Good Luck
  • Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say thanks so much and that I PASSED the test this morning! This instructor was a bit more robotic than my 1st test but still efficient and made conversation around 3 times which was nice. I was relaxed, and had 7 minors one of which was leaving the test centre and one was coming back in!
I had listened to a hypnotherapy mp3 for a week prior to the test which maybe helped subconsciously (I figured it couldn't hurt!).
Off to town to relax and chill, plus send off the all important licence.

GOOD LUCK Yorkie hope some calmness and luck come your way too. Let us know how you get on.
