I sent them an email and they replied saying that the vouchers and nectar points will be posted approx 30 days after the 3rd payment has been successfully taken, also please allow 3-4 days for delivery. That means they should arrive mid february0

I haven't received anything so far either. Took out the policy on 14th November.
There was nothing on my simplycashback account but stupidly I didn't query it until recently because I thought they were waiting until the 3rd payment had gone out. When I queried it a few days ago they said that I should have done so within 2 months.
"Is there a time frame for reporting missing transactions?
Yes, as you will understand it is impossible to chase up any missing transactions that are too old. Therefore, if you have any missing transactions you must report this to us within two months."
I think they are trying to wriggle out of it as I raised the query on 14th Jan, which is either exactly 2 months or only a day over anyway depending on how you look at it. I sent them back an email but don't hold out much hope of them chasing it up for me.
Hopefully Legal and General will honour the sainsburys vouchers and nextar points. Do you think it is best to hold off canceling the policy until near to the time of the next payment to increase bargaining power in case of difficulties?0 -

I wouldn't accept that, not when we've heard from others here that nothing was going to show up until after the third transaction. I would give it a couple of weeks, it could be that we get eveything promised!0 -
Thanks Costello, I hope so0

My 3rd Payment has just been taken, should i cancel now(or wait a little) and how do i do so? Call them up or cancel the d/d at the bank?
Like everyone else my simply cashback has not tracked(nor have i receieved my voucheers/points although that was expected) so i am going to wait until 90 days to chase it up.0 -

You can just cancel it at the bank, no need to inform ins co.
They'll send you reminders etc but nothing happens except your ins cover becomes void.0 -
I think everyone is getting a little confused on timeframes to chase up. My understanding is that it's up to 90 days from date of purchase to chase Simply Cashback if the transaction isn't tracking.
The Sainsburys vouchers won't be sent out until after 3rd payment has been taken and they don't come from SimplyCashback but from Sainsburys. It's probably worth giving it at least a month after 3rd payment has been taken before chasing for the vouchers and points. Cancelling the insurance direct debit after 3rd payment shouldn't affect the vouchers being sent.
I got my cashback approved after I moaned to SimplyCashback within their timeframe. But I'm worried I won't get my Sainsburys vouchers as my policy has only begun this month, even though I purchase it early November. It got held up in their system, even though they set a direct debit up in November for me, they didn't sort the policy out until early Jan. Think I will have a fight on my hands there!
hth,
pippitypipI know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here!0 -

Gosh, hope i am not too late. It has been 2 months since i applied, ill chase it up now. I will cancel the D/D at the bank now that the 3rd payment has been taken and hopefully i will not have to chase up the vouchers/nectar points.0
